The place was redone from our last stay a year ago and looks great. The beds really comfortable and the room had new furniture. The staff was very accommodating but the breakfast needs work. The eggs werenât real - more like military food. The sausage was greasy and tasted more like plant based food. No cool.

First and foremost the staff are outstanding and go above and beyond! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. For the most part the hotel was clean and comfortable. It was the details that made this an average stay. We checked in online and have requested a high floor due to PTSD issues. Traveling with small Service Dog and no issues with checkin.Upon arrival no high floor were ready and would be a wait, just what you want to hear after a long drive. So we settled for 2nd floor âŚ.big mistake as we could hear everything from our neighbors and the floor above to include their time in bathroom. Cold water station was available, but no coffee or hot water station; wonderful front desk staff took the time to provide me with large hot water. Saw a popcorn wagon, just for decorationâŚno snack. In closing itâs obvious the hotel staff are a dedicated crew and go above and beyond for their property.

Our stay was great except for the missing handicap rails in the bathroom. The toilet was so low to the ground, an assist was needed to get off the toilet. The walk-in shower had handicap rails so why not the toilet? The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

This inn was convenient from I 95 N, with an adjacent gas station to refuel our vehicle. Ample parking, so so free breakfast. A few caveats: Don't take a room on the first floor. The lobby and breakfast area have no acoustic ceiling tiles or sound-absorbent curtains, carpeting, or chairs. So those areas are VERY loud, and the sound of laughter and talking travels to guestrooms. Watch out for the shower floor--it's VERY slippery. I had to lay the terry bathmath over the shower floor to avoid falling. Last, there were only two pods of coffee for the in-room coffeemaker--one regular and one decaf. My husband and I both wanted regular. (It's customary for hotels to provide regular and decaf coffee for two occupants.)

I have no idea how this hotel is rated a 4. It is old, dirty and the walls are paper thin. We stayed one night en route to our destination and arrived later in the evening. Immediately upon entering the very small lobby, smelled of stale smoke. When i inquired if this was a smoking hotel the night clerk (who was entertaining a friend in the lobby), stated it was from guest smoking in the vestibule. It was gross! Hallways are beat up and dirty. Rooms are small, which was fine for an overnight stay. But the worst was, you could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door; talking, tv, etc. This property should not be included in the Marriott group, Fairfield Inn or not! No, just no!
