This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We had no hot water for three days so showering was miserable. Our tv screen would go black every ten minutes so we couldn’t watch tv. The pool and spa were closed the entire time which was one reason we booked here. The entire floor smelled horribly of cigarettes even though it’s non-smoking. When I spoke to the front desk clerk she simply said sorry and that they would send maintenance up to fix it. It was overall dirty and just felt unclean. I would stay at any other hotel just for the hot water alone.

I had a last minute booking with a late plane into Dulles. Even though it was 8 PM, the woman at the front desk couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. She sent an uber to Dulles to pick me up as the shuttle was elsewhere. Check-in was a breeze. Warm, supportive words go a long way after a tough travel day. The room was large and clean - I asked for little else.

Stayed for two nights and overall it was a nice hotel. The bed is comfy and the room is spacious. King size bed and pullout sofa bed (didn’t open it so I can’t tell you if it’s comfy). Pillows were a different story though- too soft so you need to stack 3 to equal 1 pillow. The top of the fridge did have dust as well as the inside of the lamps (hard not to see when the lamp is right next to you if you sit on the couch)- dusting could clearly be done better. The rooms were clean though and look like they may have recently been renovated. Tons of storage space for your personal belongings (only thing I didn’t like is that the closet ā€œdoorā€ is a curtain, not an actual door. There’s a good sized fridge with a freezer, microwave, cups, plates, soap, (didn’t use any of the cups or plates, but they appeared clean) and a stovetop can be provided upon request at the front desk. The pool and hot-tub was disappointing as they are currently only open Saturday and Sunday and close at 5pm (I think maybe because of repairs the hotel is undergoing)- this was the main reason we wanted to try them out. They have a nice sitting area outside of the pool and it has two grills. There’s a fire pit out front but that was out of service too. They front is still being remodeled so I get it. Breakfast is included and has tons of options (make your own waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal, packaged pastries, etc. 24/7 coffee offered in the lobby. They also have a small ā€œstoreā€ where they sell microwaveable food and snacks as well as beer, wine, soda, etc. Regarding the keys, mine kept deactivating which is annoying as I had to go to the desk twice to fix (no, I didn’t have them near my phone- don’t know if it’s a door or key issue) and they do not support digital keys like other Hilton’s (front desk stated they are having issues with that so hopefully that gets added or fixed, whichever applies). The staff we encountered during our visit were all pleasant. I plan to visit again in a few months so hopefully the renovations are done and can enjoy the pool next time. Be warned if you go to the front late at night there are homeless that will come up to you to panhandle. Don’t know if this is typical but based on my interaction, sounds like it is a problem. Obviously that’s out of the hotels hands but maybe should have security or something to combat that. I was told by staff that police patrol cars come around- didn’t go back out that night so I can’t confirm that.

Kind and helpful staff is what made my stay so memorable. Arriving at 1am isn’t fun, but Christina at the front desk was welcoming and wonderful! The rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast had several options to choose from. I’ll happily stay here again!
