I stayed here one weeknight for business in the area. Checking in was excellent and on point! Friendly, professional, and helpful too! The property looks really nice and parking in the garage was easy and plentiful. The room was huge, with a separate bedroom and living room. The roomâs cleanliness wasnât quite there though⌠there were long black hairs in the tub and shorter black curly hairs on the toilet seat, which was gross. The bed was kind of ruffled too, so I question just how clean the room was made after the last guest. Location of this property is great for attending meetings in the courthouse area. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Iâd return and hope for a better room the next time.

are excellentâvery friendly and welcoming. However, we were disappointed with the lifeguardâs attitude. While the hot pool was empty, my son was simply moving his arms and having fun, but the lifeguard complained about splashing. The way he spoke to us felt disrespectful, with a serious demeanor and a lack of friendliness. If the lifeguard had been more approachable, our experience at the hotel would have been perfect.

Adequate but nothing special. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, but the linens (sheets and towels) were thin and scratchy. Staff wasnât particularly friendly, with no acknowledgment of elite status nor any perks or upgrades. The location is great though, both to DC and DCA airport.

Located 15 mins drive from the Mall and DC museums. We stayed for two nights in an efficient studio suite, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Parking is available onsite but not included in the price. Free street parking is available for overnight, weekends and holidays. It has an Indoor pool but timings are limited during weekdays. Ideal location with town center, courthouse metro stop, and restaurants in five min walking radius. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend it.

I chose this hotel over the Hyatt one block away (my colleagues stayed there) because I have status with Bonvoy and because of the reviews. The reviews here are spot on. This hotel would get five stars every time except for a few small things that are slightly annoying for a hotel - but it is clean, in a great neighborhood, loved the gym and I would stay here again and recommend it. PROS: Location is amazing - walkable neighborhood that is safe, close to dining/bars/grocery. Room is a good size, hotel is clean, breakfast looked solid, and the gym is small but has good cardio and some weights. Also, when I took a quick shower the first day, I had terrible water pressure and was not going to be able to wash my hair for meetings the next day. Bathroom had a tired old shower head with hard water caked on it - I was not optimistic and asked for a new room or someone to look at it. Returned from dinner, on a Sunday, and I had a new shower head and solid water pressure. CONS: Arrived at 1:45pm to check in, and told room was ready and available, but was also told I had to pay an early check-in fee. With status and booked directly with Bonvoy, seemed petty to charge that - but probably the landscape for all hotels moving forward, sadly. I also agree with the assessments of the staff - all professional and capable (shower head!) but they are lacking any warmth, greeting, hospitality training, etc. Also noted previously, they seemed to be stretched thinly - one person at the front desk is stuck helping someone with an issue, and no one else there to assist with a simple question. Final note - no bar or restaurant here, so there is no lobby vibe, but I guess the norm with a Residence Inn. Lots of options to eat/drink within 1-2 blocks so not really needed. I think this is a good spot particularly for the rate and again, would stay here again. However, I look forward to the standard reply from the hotel management to this review as it has others, which further supports the aforementioned comment about the lack of warmth or hospitality...:)))
