Basic hotel with convenient location Room needs paint and better cleaning The bathroom at first glance seemed clean enough until we opened the shower doors Soap scum and mold and hair which looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly in years! Definitely not up to par for Hilton brand

Very nicely managed property. Staff is eager to please. Close to shopping and restaurants. Great choice if you want easy proximity to DCA/Reagan Airport. Room and common areas were spotless. Nice pool and fitness center. Kiosk. Free parking. Many thanks to Victoria for going the extra mile to accommodate a special room request while the property was sold out. Southern hospitality in spades here. Definitely recommend.

We booked this hotel by accident and called and the representative was given us an impression that it would be a big deal to cancel and get a refund, but then 1 hour later they sent us a message saying it’s denied. Already having a trust issue. Please be careful with dealing with these people.

After reading through all the reviews online, believing all the high star reviews and staying here for couple of nights i had to review it for other familes to know. First the good. It is a nice clean hotel. Its close to all the smithsonians and monuments you want to visit in DC. 30min of drive. It has free parking and very decent free hot breakfast that all the family can enjoy. Now for the bads. It is in a very shady part of town. I kid you not. I absolutely didnt feel safe going out to fill up gas or getting food. Google Alexendria crime. For the rooms it doesn’t live up to hampton standards. According the hotel manager at front desk it was recently renovated but look at the condition of bathroom pics. There were grime, cracks and splatter on walls. We stayed in 2 queen bedroom with 4 people and They give you 3 bath towels. Everyday we had to ask for additional towel for our fourth member of family. As for beds and blankets they were not soft or up to hamptom standards. They were hard and blanks were very thin. Not the thick soft ones i have had in every hampton i have stayed for years. I can only assume it was some other hotel chain and they did bare minimum to put hampton logo on. Every Hampton i stayed in past i get greeted by the front desk when i enter. Any hotel for that matter. Not once the indian lady managing the desk greeted us. She saw us but never said hi or hello or anything. That was beyond strange to me. If I visit DC again i wont be staying here and will pick another Hampton inn to stay.

Elaine at the front desk had no will to try to help me with my wifi issue.. apparently they don’t have the boosted wifi that the website prompted me to pay for and when i did purchase the better option (only $5 a day) i couldn’t connect any of me or my guys 6 DEVICES now at the end of the day we still have work to do on the internet and reporting back and conducting end of day reports.. i now am sittin in my car writing my review in the parking lot of the Candlewood suites using their wifi.. we travel A LOT for work and hampton/hilton is now off the list of where to stay.. i can’t believe how unwilling she was to try to even correct the situation.. gave me a managers card and said email her in the morning… pathetic customer service bad expierence.. booking another hotel for the next 2 night i can’t stay here
