Upon checking in, the gentleman at the desk was good. After getting to our room noticed paper scattered in the carpet which drew me to how dirty it was. The molding and wallpaper was pealing. Also next to the next room there had been a small piece of food sitting there for 2 days now. We went to look at the pool and was very disappointing, no lounge chairs just about 8 regular chairs. Not a relaxing atmosphere. I will let the photos speak for themselves about the water fountain. When I reported to manager all he could say isā he would look into and pass the info on. Not apologetic at all. The girl at the desk had to idea how the metro runs. Final straw I called to ask about streaming which they were supposed have 2024, she had to check and said no they donāt have if the archer had nights available, I let the photos speak speak for themselves. Manager was awful. I wish I could say what I really felt about him.

Donāt stay here if there are other options. We arrived after a very long car ride from visiting family further south, and waited in a long line at the front desk to check in while the sole employee was chatting on the phone. We finally got situated and the kids were geared up to go in the pool (the only reason I booked this place), and the pool was closed because the lifeguard was running ā5 minutes late.ā 25 minutes later the pool was finally opened but my younger son was too afraid to go in because the shallowest part was 4 ft. My daughter had a great time in the pool but announced at one point that there was garbage on the bottom of the pool. When we were ready for bed after a long day, we pulled out the sofa bed to find that not only did we need to make it ourselves but they forgot to leave sheets in the room. We waited for a long time for housekeeping to bring them up, resulting in a very late bedtime for two small kids. When we got up the next day to head out, there was no shampoo in the bottle attached to the shower and we had to wash our hair with shower gel. Overall not a great stay. Iād avoid if you have the option.

Stayed here on a trip to DC with the family. The location is right across form a metro stop on the Blue Line - very convenient. If you are going into DC the trip is about 20 minutes, not exactly "around the corner", but still not bad. They had a free happy hour and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms are very spacious and towels/sheets were new. The hotel is a little older, atrium style, so it looks like it's from the 80s, but we were very happy with it.

This hotel is located across the street from the King St. Metro Station and is very convenient to transportation options. My room was spacious and comfortable. When I complained that one of the light bulbs had blown out, it was replaced promptly. The complimentary breakfast had many options and was delicious. I would gladly stay here again he next time I am in Alexandria.

Weāve stayed here many times over many years and were disappointed. The reception staff did not make us feel welcome, they made us feel like an inconvenience. They did however make a big fuss of the customers in the large expensive 4x4, donāt judge your customers on appearance ! The hotel is tired and needs updating. In the laundry one of the two washing machines is out of order, and one of the two dryers has a hand written note saying donāt use or it will damage your clothes. Thatās appalling. Very disappointed with our latest stay, we will be looking to stay at a different hotel on our next visit.
