Hampton Inn & Suites Williamsburg Central

I travel weekly for work - 98% of the time I stay at a Hampton - and have never been to a hotel that breakfast doesn’t open until 7am on week days. I used the chat function when I checked in the day before but no one ever responded and of course my requests were not met. Most of the front desk agents don’t make eye contact with you at hotels anymore or greet you at all - let alone thank you for being a diamond member. The hotel is definitely older - and is in need of some attention. I will definitely make a new choice in the future.

We always find Hampton Inn to be consistently good and this is no exception. Many hotel rooms are noisy, but we had a quiet room. I really appreciated the well-maintained pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet is always reliably good. Although it's located on the edge of town, it's a short drive to many restaurants, and to colonial Williamsburg.

We stayed 3nites and made reservation 2 months ago. It was the First floor. We were given a room with very strong stale smoke odor and noisy heater that smelled smoke when circulating. After one sleepless nite, we were given an upgrade in a suite. It washouts . I understand that people smoke in hotel rooms even when told it is prohibited. Even do, this room had no ventilation and sorely needs the carpet replaced. Probably won’t stay at a Hampton again

Th is was my second stay at this property. My last visit was five years ago and the property definitely has aged a bit, but that is no reason not to stay here. The staff is friendly and the location is great. The breakfast was nice and had plenty of choices. I would recommend to anyone headed down to Williamsburg.

This hotel is great stay great environment I would recommend to stay :) it’s very clean and I don’t mind stay here again not many options for dinning and great for kids to swim the front desk was very friendly and I forgot my personal item for check out they would call you and come back and get it
