Residence Inn by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Everything is spectacular at this place. The staff, the suites, the cleanliness. The free breakfast was always good and different each day. I liked that you could get hot coffee at any point in time. Parking is the only thing that I would suggest they do different.

The staff are so friendly and kind. The room was very nice and the view was beautiful. Highly recommended. My dog had a nice area to walk. The breakfast was very nice. We had to stay because we had a fire in our home. So the kitchen was a plus. The staff were helpful.

This is not a residence inn I would ever stay at again. Beds are hard, Dogs always barking and in elevators, and the shower is barely luke warm and was told this is normal. There is no hot water shower in this place per the front desk. Cant smoke on open balcony but can smoke right outside the entrance door. I have stayed at many residence inns and never been at a residence inn this pathetic.

I am a bonvoy gold membership. This hotel was absolutely terrible. I tried to prevent going public, but after having a filthy room that took five days to clean and then have the room flood, we had enough. They would not offer another room that was not soaked with water...

Great location. Loved being right on the boardwalk and so close to the beach. Ample restaurants and shops within close walking distance. Parking worked out fine for us. Overall, we had a good experience and will be back. Definitely more pluses than minuses for this property.
