Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel

3 stars is being generous. I had high hopes for this hotel but it under delivered. No wash cloths in the room and front desk said they are low and don’t have any!! Bed was broken. Outdated rooms/lobby. Elevator so slow. Nice view and hot shower.

i was not able to play my play station on the tv due to not having enough ports. this is something that could be upgraded. ken from valet was helpful and showed me a work around after i complained while waiting for my car. kudos to a worker that was able to assist me.

Good service, from Ken at valet to all the concierges. The hotel itself was good but could use some updating, wouldn't mind staying again when in town again. Family enjoyed the time in town and felt comfortable in our quarters here. Would recommend

The Sheraton is located on the Elizabeth River in downtown Norfolk. First time visitor to the city and was surprised at its size and how nice it is. The Sheraton is decent - great staff, pretty lobby and surroundings, a bit dated rooms. Just had drinks at Waterside Seafood Company so can't speak to the food. The restaurant is very nice. Ate middle of the road bar food at Blue Moon Taphouse, a short walk from the hotel. Location is great just needs some updating to get another star.

First time in Norfolk. The hotel isn't much to look at, but is in a great location. Staff overall was very friendly. My room (single King) was a nice size, great views! Bed was pretty comfortable, bathroom was functional, nothing outstanding. I had one meal in the restaurant/bar (dinner), service was good, the meal was decent to decent +, but again nothing outstanding. I appreciated the complimentary coffee setup in the lobby in the a.m. So to summarize, I certainly didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. I would stay there again, so maybe it was just me being there in early March???
