I really loved the European charm of the hotelāitās stylish and cozy. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, though I didnāt catch her name. Unfortunately, our stay took a turn late in the evening. Around 10:30 p.m., someone knockedāmore like bangedāon our door. We didnāt open it, unsure of who it was. Not long after, a staff member began loudly walking the halls, shouting, āThird floor guests, it was reported that someone was smoking marijuana. There will be a cleaning fee of $150.00!ā As someone who already struggles with falling and staying asleep, this disturbance made it even harder to rest. I really wish they had handled the situation more discreetly, perhaps by calling the rooms individually instead of announcing it in such a disruptive way. It was a disappointing moment in an otherwise pleasant stay.

Wifi was out the entire stay. In the morning, the toilet stopped working. I called the front desk. Was told, no maintenance for two more days. When I asked what to use for a toilet, was told there was one in the lobby. When I left I asked the front desk person for a discount on my stay for no WIFI and no toilet in the morning. She not only said she couldn't help me, she was extremely rude. She gave me the manager's card. I called twice, and emailed once. NO response. This is a nice building but terrible service and rude staff.

My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. Upon arrival, I checked in, got my room key, and headed up to discover that my room was right next to a noisy highway. Since I'm sensitive to noise, I immediately went to the lobby to request a quieter room. While Cole at the front desk seemed willing to help, the supervisor, Melanie Brock , rudely refused and bluntly told me, "That's your room, and that's that." She showed zero concern when I explained my situation. To make matters worse, Melanie Brock handed me her card along with her managerās contact information as if that would solve anything. When I called her manager, Jeffery Lemus, his response was even more absurd: he explained how the highway was designed to be "quiet." Seriously? Melanie's attitude was beyond rude, and when I asked for a refund since I couldn't stay in the room, they flat-out refused. So, I ended up paying for a room I couldnāt use. Itās clear that some people in this hotel have no business being in the service industry. Avoid this place at all costs!

The hotel is very nice dark wood and marble, book case and fireplace in the lobby. The room was really much more than I expected at this price. The only problem was the wifi hook-up. I had to get help several times before we got it working. Otherwise I'll go back for sure. The bakery next door had great pastry. I missed out on the hotel restaurant , open from 4-7 or something. But it looked nice.

The tub was really nice. The room had a weird odor and was tiny. We had interested experiences with the concierge, one young man was really nice and conversational. The young woman was the absolute opposite! Yikes. Im not sure what I did to make her treat me like this but wow. There was a dance or prom while we were there, which was fine but a heads up would have been great so we could have prepared for the noise. It was a bit disappointing because weād been recommended by several people to stay here for our anniversary.
