I didn't mind the outdated rooms so much. That was fine. What threw me was the poor breakfast. I'm hesitant to say anything at all because I don't want the breakfast lady getting fired. None of it was her fault. It's just a poor breakfast. It's a tight room. If there are more than 4 or 5 people, you will be bumping into one another. So where do they put the one toaster that they have? Yes - in the corner where everybody is trying to get to. The lack of common sense is too much to bear. I saw yogurt, but I was looking for hard-boiled eggs and didn't see any. They had the fake, scrambled-powdered eggs which I will not eat if you paid me. And they had the microwaved bacon which is just so-so...kind of like a cross between cardboard and bacon. I was kind of looking forward to a piece of toasted white bread and some butter. Lo and behold - the bread seemed "wet" and cool to the touch. I think this place actually freezes bread, and then uses the bread as needed. It bothers me that a major chain FINDS THE NEED to FREEZE BREAD rather than just buy fresh bread for the customers. I tried to toast it anyway, but when I went to butter it, it seemed to crumple to the touch. This hotel needs updating, as does the breakfast room, and the breakfast "menu" needs to be completely thought out again. Something of an upgrade is in order. I would probably not stay here again, and try a different hotel in the same area.

My family and I came to this place for the first time in St. George, Utah as my husband had a business with Utah Tech to attend to. We made a trip also as a family time for 3 days. We needed to get a way and relax too. We found their photos of the pool which was awesome for my kids. I immediately fell in Love with the design & surroundings as I practice a lot of my Mindfulness. Meditation is very important and this place has the perfect place for it. The ambiance of the pool area was so peaceful and designed beautifully. I love the pool and their jacuzzi was so warm and useful for my painful back. The reason why I am giving this place a 3 star is because of our experienced the whole time we stayed here. 1st day was perfectly fine. We enjoyed the time alone in the pool area. 2nd day was the day that our AirConditioning in the room went-out. Mind you that the temperature outside was 95 degrees at the time. I didn't realize till we got back from the pool after lunch around 1:30pm - 2:30pm that our AirConditioning was not working properly in our room. The room was at 79-80 degrees. Since my husband was at his event at the University, I decided to handle things and go to the front desk. I explained to Jules (Front Desk Rep) what was going on with the room. They offered to have maintenance to come to our room and fix the situation. Mind you, this was after we have been sitting in our room for more than 6hours waiting. At around 7:30-8pm the maintenance came. He tried to figure out what was wrong and decided to change the Thermostat of the room to see if the temperature changes. Finally, within an hour it started to go down and started for feel cool air again. I was beginning to get worried. Tried to figure out if we have to move to another room (which we found out they have no rooms available) or go to another Marriott property next door. 3rd day, time for us to finally check out. Waiting for my husband to get done with his event at the University so we can drive back to Las Vegas ahead of schedule. I asked the front desk (Tonya GM) if we can wait for my husband to get done with his event to check out since it's not that far away. She was kind enough to allow us to stay until 2pm. I really appreciated how helpful they were, trying to accommodate us and our needs as much as possible. Sometimes there are things that we can't control. The only thing that I wish they could have done is to honor what they say they would do. They told me that they would take care of the 2nd night Free for us as we had the experienced of having the air go out on us with being hot temp outside for most of the day. You can imagine how uncomfortable it was being in the room. However, when we checked out, my husband realized that they only gave us a 15% discount on our rate for the 2nd day as well as charging as more per-night in our room. My husband was surely not so happy with that. Had called and spoke to Tanya about it again, unfortunately she was not able to honor what they said they would do and was not able to fix our bill. I wish they would have at least help honor what they said they would do. Other than that, I do recommend staying here again and hoping that next time we stay, everything will be working out just fine and we would not have to argue about small things that Customer Service should of been handled differently. I also hoped that this was a lesson learn for them as this was surely a lesson for me. Next time they tell (verbally) that they would take care of something, I will immediately record it so that I have proof of what was said and been told. I hope that this was helpful for you. I would like to come back and stay here again for sure.

This is our second time staying here, we love this hotel and their pool! We always have a great time when staying here! Check in is at 3 and check out is at Noon, what a plus! The pool was perfect for our kids, and the jacuzzi was big and awesome too. Thereās a grill there and free breakfast. The rates are good and the hotel is really clean. The service was also great! Theyāre doing good here! We will be back again!

Pros: New construction, attractively appointed (light fixtures...), helpful and friendly staff, comfortable bed & pillows, motion detection closet light, smart heat adjusts when the room is unoccupied, plenty of warm/hot water, suites have dishwasher, mid-size fridge, 4 burner stove, place setting for 4...The area feels safe and the parking lot is well lit and has adequate parking. There is a pool and laundry facilities. We saw other people using these facilities but we did not. Cons: We had reservations weeks in advance and checked in at 4pm yet there were no non-handicap accessible rooms available. The tv wasn't working but on the positive it took just a few minutes for the front desk clerk to reset it (but with a new hotel this should not be a regular issue). The laminate flooring in our room was peeling up, baseboards in our bathroom were bubbled away from the wall, sloppy paint around trim and exposed flooring edges around doors (see attached photos). The water pressure in the shower was very weak in spite of the fact that the water flowed very strongly from the tub faucet. The couch in the room was the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on I'm hoping it's because it is higher and firmer than those in a standard room to make it more accessible for someone transferring from a wheel chair but I'm not informed on such things so I could be completely wrong on that. Overall though the list of pros looks shorter than the list of cons our stay was pleasant. The comfort of the bed and pillows, room temperature control and helpful staff make this a place I would return to. The breakfast was below standard and left us disappointed. Our overall feeling is that this place is nice enough now but if the poor workmanship by the builders that is visible is any indication I wouldn't expect this to be a nice place for long. I truly hope that the owner(s) have some recourse with the builders.

This is very nice hotel. Full refer, dishwasher, 2 burner stove, couch, tray for eating in bed. Only neg was tv was small and bathroom counter was small. But, the kitchen counter and room counter was large. Closet had 2 entrances, one from bathroom, the other from entrance hall.. We have stayed at 2 Fairfield Inn's which are a step down. Free parking and breakfast.
