Hyatt Place Provo

Globalist staying with family, Hyatt Place Provo is an excellent, new-feeling hotel right in the happening center of Provo downtown. Much better breakfast and facility than we’re used to from Hyatt Place, and the staff were all kind and accommodating. Shout out to Cole for his extra help getting us settled. Other reviews mentioned complex parking, but we found it pretty easy. There’s a small traffic circle to temporarily park next to the lobby for check in. Front desk will take your plate number. Then just pull into the adjacent garage, no ticket needed.

This Hyatt Place is in a great location, with easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants, shops and entertainment! The staff was pleasant and we were able to check in early which was great after catching a red eye! Workout area and pool area were clean. Breakfast was good with lots of variety and not just a carb fest. They only had king rooms available due to multiple college teams staying but the bed was so comfortable and even our teen on the pull out couch said hers was comfortable too which says a lot ! I also like the walk in shower vs tub. Parking is in a garage next to the property but felt safe, it is $10/night but way cheaper than most downtown cities, so can’t complain too much! Would definitely stay here again if we are back to the area.

Worst mattress we have slept on in the last 10 years. Perfect if you like a concave mattress and back pain. Terrible. We wouldn’t return based on sleep alone. Breakfast was decent enough, but that mattress… awful. No late checkout as globalist due to being full hotel. Definitely most disappointing Hyatt experience by far.

Great location and staff. Clean room, very friendly team at the hotel. While it was only one night, I would definitely return for a longer stay to explore the area a little more. The lobby was also a clean and inviting place to spend some time when not in the room.

Great and friendly staff at the front desk and also housekeeping if the hotel. Very personable.Amazing breakfast with lots of options! Clean and relaxing rooms. Also great location. I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in Provo.
