We were here for the Sundance Film Festival and the location was perfect. It is close to transit, a grocery store, and some restaurants. I have stayed here several times over the years and it just keeps getting better. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There was talk of it getting torn down, and it's good to hear that won't happen in the near future.

Hotel is in a great location. It’s close to Main Street and the bus stops. Audra at the front desk is amazing and went above and beyond to help us with all of the recommendations- sights, restaurants, hiking trails, etc. Thanks for a great experience!

Pros - Super Convenient Location right on Park, next to a grocery store (for water and healthy snacks) and close to Starbucks (our preferred). Its a short drive to main street, Deer Valley, Park City resorts and others are close by. So if you can't swing a resort stay - you can stay in this hotel and just ski at the resorts by day. Breakfast was pretty good - pancakes, oatmeal, breakfast burrito all generous portions. Cons - The Hotel is dated. The hallways are a maze and the signage is terrible. There is one tiny elevator in a hard to find corner if you stay on the second floor. The signs may or may not get you there. (It's giving Severance.) The carpets and rooms have a musty smell. I bought Lysol disinfectant spray at the grocery store and that helped. It has washer and dryers on the second floor if you can find them but they don't clean well and cost $2 for a 30 minute cycle and there is nowhere to get quarters. Our rooms were on the side facing the side street where loud trucks went up and down. The heater is a unit that was so loud when it turned on and off. It woke me up repeatedly most nights. But the noise from the heater drowned the noise from the road outside. There is no food during lunch time and dinner wasn't very good. There is an amazing healthy food place called 5Seeds I discovered in the shopping center to the right. I went there everyday for lunch. This place was fine for my kids. They made a game out of the hallway maze and ate pancake breakfast. But they ski all day and I didn't want to be in the hotel anymore than I had to. So if its fine depending on what you are looking for. But we will look for another option next Spring Break.

Very flawed experience in many ways. One thing I will note is that the hotel was incredibly clean. Our room was spotless. However, Sebastian at the front desk didn't understand any of my special requests and really threw a wrench in our stay. Our room was full of down feathers which really aggravated our allergies. The room was also in need of a refresh, the shower was tiny and the room had an old carpet smell. The hallways were a bit of a corn maze as well. We won't come back, and are disappointed.

The negative reviews about this hotel are somewhat true. The hotel is darker, more dated, and more confusing than the pictures show. Upon check-in, we were a bit let-down. The lobby itself is nice, but the rooms are older than portrayed. The bathroom was the biggest let-down— tiny shower, tiny toilet. Very old lightbulbs that got hot to the touch, peeling popcorn ceiling. The room itself was clean, but cramped and dated. There were many cracks in the ceiling, wallpaper was peeling, etc. Perhaps the worst thing was that the glass on the door was coming apart from the door frame, leaving a large gap where cold air and noise came in. On the bright side, the sheets and bed were clean and comfortable. The lobby was spacious and they had free cookies. The whole place had a weird smell though, like mustiness + air freshener. The staff were mostly awesome. We booked with Sebastian, who was friendly but apparently misunderstood many of our requests. However, Audra at the front desk was a godsend and very understanding when we wanted to leave early. She even took off some fees for us. The restaurant, 1800 Park, does not have free breakfast unless you’re a Silver/Gold Hilton Member. We had to pay for breakfast, and it was mediocre at best. The location was great though, you can walk to Fresh Market and grab a Starbucks in under 5 minutes. Ubers were very close by. Overall, I wouldn’t come back. Clean, good staff, convenient location, but very dark/dated and in need of some maintenance. We really do appreciate Audra’s kindness, she was phenomenal and made our stay better.
