Comfort Suites Kanab National Park Area

We are two very tired travelers. Room as Immaculate and Juan at the desk was so very helpful, thoughtful and courteous. We are headed to Tucson to meet friends and just booked a reservation at Comfort Suites in Kanab for our return trip to Washington.

We spent a few days here in late Oct/early Nov 2024. We found it helpful for our travels to be located here. I thought the price was very good for what we got. The rooms were clean although dated. We enjoyed a decent breakfast here which was nice. I would recommend this hotel and if we ever came back I would look into staying here again.

What a great stop for a damp night in southern Utah. And the gentleman at registration remembered my name! Impressive! The rooms are lovely and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked! Kanab has several good restaurants! Juan at the front desk is friendly and efficient. Check in was a breeze!

The hotel is only 10 years old but it looks like it was built last year as it is very well maintained. The building is oriented perpendicular to the main road that passes through Kanab so that you don't have one entire side of the hotel dealing with traffic noise (although there is very little traffic on this road at night). Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the HVAC unit was quiet but still provided good covering "white noise" throughout the night. Breakfast was above average for a Comfort Suites these days. The coffee was decent. We interacted with three different staff members at the front desk. All were pleasant and knowledgeable. Andres was particularly helpful in getting us the room we wanted and then making a necessary adjustment to our reservation. He went out of his way to make sure that we had a good experience. A true professional. We will definitely return. Our only suggestion for the manager is to make some easy changes to the fitness room. That room was too warm, did not have any available water, and had only bath-sized towels. Please make it cooler, had a source of cold water, and add smaller towels and it will be great.

Juan at front desk was the nicest and best person we have ever met when checking into a hotel!! He was so patient and helpful when we had difficulty getting into our Choice Hotels file. In all our years of travelling, Juan gets top marks for his effort, helpfulness and his very pleasant demeanour . If Choice Hotels give anything for top performers, Juan deserves every award!
