Gooseberry Lodges

We have rented through Air B&B frequently and have grown accustomed to descriptions being accurate. We expected a kitchenette with some utensils and dishes and a way to heat food. These were bare bones. The was a Keurig-type coffee maker, which did not initially work. The photos on the site were not accurate. We had reserved two nights, but left after the first.

Gooseberry lodges are a hidden gem when visiting Zion! The location is away from the touristy buzz but close enough for all the things! The hammock chair! The fire pit! The views! The clean, cozy rooms! Perfect! We are at Market Cafe and Triple TJs in Hurricane and rented EBikes from Zion Peddler. The E-bike was such an amazing way to experience the canyon!

Perfect experience for family of four with adult children. We rented the larger cabin. Space was extremely well thought out and efficient and the on-site office stocked with essentials either free or at a very reasonable price. We picked up groceries at the Walmart in Hurricane and grilled out every evening. Site is very quiet and has a lovely view of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We needed a quick night to sleep before heading to Zion. Check in was great, room was clean. We never saw anyone that worked there as we got in late and left early but the place was exactly what we needed. We would stay here again. We saw multiple families as well before we left.

What a great stay! My son and I went out to this area to hike some of the National and state parks. We arrived just after 9 pm for a 4 night stay. Even though there was no one there to get us setup, Jolie had texted me all the pertinent information. The cabins were great! Just what we expected. They were comfortable, roomy and each had its own fire pit outside. There were supplies for fires, grilling and just general needs in the store which was open 24/7. The area the cabins are in is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
