Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Sandy

I went to stay there and quickly turned away. The front desk was messed up and rude from the beginning. I will never stay here. A better place would be the Hyatt House and I just had the best time. This place needs some help. This is ridiculous about how it needs to be a minimum.

Great home base for skiing! Comfy, clean rooms. Pool and Hot Tub perfect for the evening after returning from skiing all day. Breakfast is decent and the staff was very nice! Would definitely come back again and recommend to others looking for a good spot, close to Cottonwood Canyons.

Great location, amenities, and service! This property is a bit older, but the staff take great care of it. I will stay here again. The rooms are comfortably large. I asked for a mountain view, and Alex was happy to accommodate me at the last minute.

For our family of five, the 2 bedroom suite has worked out really well for us. We've stayed here twice because we like having the extra room, extra bathroom, the kitchenette, and the sofa sleeper. The staff are very nice, the beds are comfortable ( the sofa sleeper, not so much), and the breakfast. My biggest complaint would be no coffee available after breakfast, which I've enjoyed at other Marriott hotels. They do have coffee in the room, but only enough for 2 small cups. It sounds nit-picky, but it's a big deal for us coffee lovers.

When every aspect of a hotel is already perfect, the thing that makes it the ultimate vacation is the staff — and you won’t find a staff better than GM Jennifer’s crew here. It starts with a warm welcome from people like Renee on the front desk, continues with AGM Sandra stopping by your table to make sure everything is what you want it to be, continues on if you are an early-bird to night man Robert who know everything about local weather (he’s been here since the hotel opened in 1997) and all the way to the really helpful housekeepers like Jessie who will get you any extra towels you might need. The Breakfast Ladies will happily get your day moving with all sorts of hot items (best scrambled eggs ever) and breads/muffins and everything in between. You will love the little tangerines, too. Two fitness rooms, 2 laundry rooms and parking surrounds the 3-story property. We’ve been lucky enough to stay here too many times to count. We always look forward to returning. So will you!
