Doubletree Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City

Room is amazing comfy beds excellent walk-in shower. Comfortable couch with a separate room then the bedroom. The staff member Brie and Marlow at the front desk was very nice and had excellent recommendations for restaurants. They had a pre-written printout page with restaurants that were recommended by the staff. staff and they had asterisks next to all the restaurants that were then walking distance very helpful definitely recommend staying here

Best hotel experience we have ever had. After challenging Thanksgiving travel the hotel was kind enough to let us check in early after driving all night. When there was an issue with the room (happens with constant maintenance) they were so responsive, fixed it right away and even treated my tired and upset kid and our family to cheesecake to make our day better. So often people are tired, treated badly working or just don’t care. I can say definitively that isn’t the case with the people here. Brea, Makayla, Marin, Rose, Julie and Verona were so competent, so kind and just made this stay awesome. Marlo the therapy dog was an unexpected delight for us to find as well. We came here cranky and probably less than patient but these people saw us and just treated us and everyone who checked in so well. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families, which isn’t the case with all hotels. They seamlessly pivoted from the business traveler, to the family to the people just passing through meeting everybody’s needs and more. This place was awesome!

This is a lovely hotel and we stayed in a room with small lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The bed was comfy but as a visitor from England, I did find the pillows too soft and as we were on a flydrive holiday, found this to be the case in most of the hotels we stayed in. Would have been nice to have complimentary water each day but nice to have a coffee machine available. Also appreciated the free parking onsite.

The hotel is very nice. Staff professional and friendly. Nice coffee shop (please get this lovely lady than mans this shop some help!) and decent restaurant./bar. The room is spacious. Living area with wet bar and fridge. They charge $3 per bottles water. Bathroom is ok. It was not cleaned well and there was a janky faucet that is coming apart. They do provide shampoo, lotion, etc. the Kleenex was nice to have. Bedroom is std. good lighting, work space and ok WiFi. I paid to upgrade and got 40 mbps. The hot spot from my phone was faster. Safe was not working. The closet has iron and board. Tv has lots of channels. Bedroom was quiet - not much noise from walkway, and other rooms. Overall, it was a good place to stay for 2 days. Seems overkill for one night. For families, the room is very nice. There was a billing issue and I had to call to get a few charges removed. This was promptly corrected in their end.

It was great to be back in SLC. Very happy I chose the Doubletree Suites this time around. Had the pleasure of meeting Makayla & Marin, who were customer focused and just lovely. Traveling as much as I do, I always notice when someone is authentic and service oriented. These two professionals met the mark. Thank you….I’ll be back!
