Hyatt Place Corpus Christi

Needs an update. Toilet was so close to the door, you couldn't shut the door without lifting the seat. AC wasn't working properly and the tub was dirty. Not what I expected from a Hyatt. Oh and the elevators were loud and shaky. Breakfast had weird eggs and front desk lady was snarky that a tip wasn't left for picking out water and a banana.

This was our experience: bodily fluid stains on the sheets, mold in the shower, loose tiles, and overall just a dirty bathroom that had been flooded previously. Was told the GM would contact me about my experience the day after I checked out, but I never got a call. Just unacceptable.

The room was not clean. I cleaned the entirety of the floor by hand with disinfecting wipes to include every single horizontal surface. The phone was not working and also wiped down with disinfecting wipes. The bed had hair and stains. The pillows and pillow cases were stained or ripped. One of the pillows had a wad of hair shoved underneath the case. Each time I requested new sheets, they were just as dirty as the original. The bathroom was not clean, I had to clean the toilet and the tub area. I asked the front desk lady if the room had even been cleaned because there was food and trash on the floor. The mirrors were dirty and looked they had been wiped down with dirty rags. Food particles were left on the couch and the bed. The only thing missing from this ordeal were bed bugs.

Property in good shape. Across parking lot from a Saltgrass Staekhouse. Nice little lobby bar. Hot breakfast was tasty. Staff super friendly. Room was clean and quiet. I got a good night's sleep on the quality bedding, and the shower had plenty of pressure.

Staff is absolutely amazing. This is my second visit and I hope to return soon. You won't be disappointed. Restaurants and stores surrounding the hotel makes it very convenient for all. Salt Grass is literally within walking distance! Valerie at the front desk is absolutely amazing.
