Aloft Austin South

The worst experience in a hotel. THERE IS NO HOT WATER!!!!! They do the rooms once every 2 days!!! They told us they will fix the hot water problem, but they didn't!! Had to leave the hotel after the second night.They didn't want to give us a refund!!!

This hotel is absolutely a waste if money don't even bother from the moment your shoes shuffle through the front entrance of this establishment they are judging you and not very welcoming at all. The location is absolutely horrible next to a drug infested Super 8 and a Skylight Motel where Undercover cops were scowering around the parking lots all night as it looked like a scene out of Blue Streak. Pay a little extra and stay closer to town it definitely worth the extra money to do so. I would not ever go back or set foot in this hotel again and I travel 100% of the year. What hotel does a wellness check on a guest I was baffled and they should be ashamed.

Nice hotel strange location we hsd a quiet room but from what i read there are many noisy rooms. Also bathroom lacks hooks to hanging stuff Very modern room they are going for the modern vibe but gorgot some basics. If i go back to austin, I'll try Aloft downtown. The south does offer free parking

The amenities in the room were lacking - there is no microwave, the fridge is complicated to figure out how to work and there's no freezer part, there was coffee/tea in the room but no water to use other than one water bottle at the start of my week long stay, the ice machine didn't work, but otherwise it has the basics and updated decor.

Nice, clean and very well designed. Location is a bit weird but very convenient. If sensitive to noise get room in back. Would recommend as a decent value and overall good. Positive service experience. Not far from a group of local breweries.
