Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown Beale Street

This hotel was centrally located and walking distance to most attractions and restaurants in the downtown area. The staff was pleasant upon checking in and out. The room and indoor pool were nice. One negative is the use of “barn doors” for the bathroom instead of a normal door. These doors left a wide gap and gave minimal privacy. Not an ideal situation when traveling with family. A secondary issue was the night time street racing which made sleeping difficult. The front desk seemed very much aware of the situation and one of the cars parked for long periods in front of the hotel revving its motor. Hotel management needs to address the street racing with the Memphis Police.

I’ll admit I was nervous booking downtown Memphis but I shouldn’t have been. The security here was fantastic. Loved the guest laundry. Staff were lovely. Close enough to walk everywhere we needed. Close to Beale St and FedEx Forum. We never felt unsafe. Car park was appreciated. Pool was also good for the kids. Great hotel that we will be back to when watching the Grizz!

I have never been to a hotel with staff as disinterested as at this hotel. Reception was more interested in their phone than doing anything. Our room wasn't serviced for 4 days despite asking for it to be done on the third day (I realise it was Thanksgiving and there was housekeeping for a couple of days but we thought it would automatically be done on day 3). There wasn't any spray to clean gym equipment and part of the door frame at the pool was hanging off. There us a laundry but you gave zero chance if getting any quarters from reception, they repearedly palm you off with the old 'the person in charge isn't in yet' when you try to get any. They'll even send you to the hotel next door to try. Not impredded at all. If you are in Memphis, stay elsewhere.

I loved this hotel! Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The hotel was really clean, and it was conveniently located on the famous Beale Street. The bed was comfortable, and the room was nice. All of the staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was phenomenal. The Hilton Garden Inn omelets are my fav!

I went to Memphis in May, and I stayed at this beautiful hotel. The staff was great. The hotel was extremely clean. The room was very clean and I enjoyed my stay. They have a bar area for drinks and a restaurant. They have a sitting area for guest to network. Parking was safe. The hotel is walking distance from Beale Street and restaurants.
