Specifically booked this hotel for the hot tub. It was not working. We were told we could use the hotels next door. It was pretty much a bathtub with a couple of lame jets. There was no ice bucket in the room, we asked front desk, she gave a bag for ice and said she would bring one later but didn't. Room above us had a leaking toilet that was running all night. Room is nice, but we were just disappointed.

Arrived to check in at about 2pm. Was told check-in wasn't until 3pm. Ok, I'm not a child. I've been traveling as an adult for some 35 yrs now. 2pm is ok at most places. Then I'm asked when exactly I made the reservation, which I had made 6 days prior to arrival, made thru Marriotts site. I'm told that a room that I reserved wasnt available, nor was the room going to be what I expected (which was a 1 BR suite w/ 2 queen beds). I was told only 2 queen STUDIO suites were available, which wasnt an option for us. Didnt like hearing that. If I reserve a 1 BR suite w/ 2 queen thru your hotel website, that type of a room should be available to me, as stated. In the end, we settled for a 1 BR suite w/ a King sized bed. Once we got up to the room, we saw that, as many other reviewers have posted, some of the furnishings were a bit scuffed and on the rougher side. The fridge had a lengthy scratch across the front, the walls had various scuffs and stains.Everything worked as needed, but, the shower faucet was dripping constantly, the kitchen faucet handle came loose, the wife found mold in the dishwasher, and some of the carpet trim was broken, creating a tripping hazard for some. But, like I said, everything worked. I've been coming to the Nashville area several times per year since 1997 or '98, and am pretty familiar with the area. Franklin/Cool Springs is a nicer part of town, and I was expecting this hotel to follow suit. The immediate area surrounding the hotel is a quiet professional office park, and retail area, but, the room was a bit sub-par. I've been a Marriott member for about that same length of time, and in my profile preferences, it states that I like rooms on a high floor. Was given room 222 on the 2nd floor, and got to listen to foot steps above us throughout our stay. I've included a photo of our "view" from our window. Theres no way to prove it, but, it appears as though my preferences were being disregarded for showing up an hour early, borderline being punished. In the end, some things were good, others not so much. Would I stay here again? Maybe, if the price is right, and if I actually get a room type and location that I wanted. Good- Comfy bed Free parking Good breakfast Good pool, hot tub Netflix in room Bad- room type room location condition of room furnishings lack of friendliness at checkin (dec 24th, approx 2pm) Now, my wife talked to the manager at check out (Dec 28th) about some things mentioned above, and he tried to make things right on our bill, which was very much appreciated. Thank you.

This was our second visit to this property. The reason we chose this property again was its location. It's in a nice setting in a business park and was walkable to many local restaurants and close to I-65 and the mall area. For the most part the hotel was well maintained but had a dated feel to it. The rooms furnishings were in good condition but the halls were looking worn and carpets were very worn in many locations. This property is definitely in need of a update. The staff was not very friendly and acted indifferent overall. There are a lot of hotels in the Cool Springs area so on our next visit we'll probably be trying one of those.

This area is beautiful, convenient, and upscale. The grounds are pleasant and landscaped. The counter service was excellent (older gentleman, I wished I remembered his name). But the room itself…yuck. Doors were greasy, couch sofa bed was flat and very stained, bathroom was worn down/moldy. Furniture was chipped/damaged. I was expecting a higher quality room from this location and was disappointed.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants. They offered a free dinner on Tuesday night and free breakfast each morning. The hotel personnel are very nice and very welcoming on arrival. We did have a problem with the water temperature in our shower but they handled that immediately after we informed them. My one big disappointment was their bed! It was a king bed but fell to a gully in the middle! It was not comfortable and my husband ended up on the sofa. Their pillows need replacing also as they had a sweaty head smell. If they address these issues, which are big ones, it would be a good hotel. Afterall the job of a hotel is to offer a good night’s sleep. Without a good bed, it is difficult to rest well. We also noticed the carpeting near the elevator was worn so perhaps a redo of this hotel is needed at this time. Marriott is a good brand so I hope they will listen and address these concerns.
