Moxy Chattanooga Downtown

Spending time at the Moxy is always a blast! The bar offers reasonably priced wine and cocktails, and the lobby is filled with giant games like Jenga and Connect 4, making it a great place to relax and have fun. My husband and I always enjoy ourselves here. For Valentine's Day, he surprised me with an overnight stay, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself is charming and affordably priced. We were treated to two complimentary drinks and spent the evening enjoying the bar and lobby area, as usual. The parking options are either self or valet, with both being similarly priced. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and the rooms are small and minimalistic but cute. The size worked well for the two of us, though I know some may not like the lack of closets. Unfortunately, the mattress was a major downside. It was one of the most uncomfortable nights of sleep we've had in years, and we both woke up sore the next morning. Despite the mattress issue, the Moxy has a lot of great things to offer and remains a fun spot to visit.

Great trendy hotel and location is perfect. We will definitely be back next trip. It is Artsy and the decor is super fun. All staff were amazing. I only have 2 suggestions lotion in the room and a makeup mirror in the bathroom. Space is limited and only mirror over sink isn’t feasible for 2 women getting ready.

We had the best experience from arrival with valet parking, early check-in/out and they are super pet friendly. We felt safe walking around to local eateries and shops near the Choo-choo off Market and King Streets. Conveniently located to bars and restaurants all within walking distance. We’ll be back with our pets! We loved the rooms too. Very quiet at all hours. The lobby was fun with games and bar, fireplace and tv’s. Very cool spot for Marriott!

My fiancé and I stopped in for a drink, Sky was super friendly and the service was quick. Sky poured the most tasty shot after a long, hard day! We left our car with the valet Cole while we got drinks and found a place to eat, he suggested we try Urban Stack which was within walking distance and had fantastic burgers. We plan on coming back for drinks again!

I absolutely love this hotel. We stayed here during Thanksgiving of 2023 and I would recommend it to anyone else wanting to stay in downtown Chattanooga. The rooms are small and do not have a lot of furniture, but when I'm traveling I try to spend as little time in the hotel room as I can so this wasn't an issue for me. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved the quirky design. We absolutely loved the lobby/bar area and the café, and how close it is to everything downtown. The bar is VERY well stocked, although be prepared for hotel bar prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful, which is impressive given it was during a holiday and they were a little short staffed.
