Super 8 by Wyndham Waco Mall area TX

Stayed 3 days and have zero complaints. Room was clean, nice hot shower with great pressure, heat and a/c worked, and it was quiet. Nothing more I need when staying somewhere. If I come back through Waco, I’d have no issues staying here again. Update. Fast forward half an hour….was leaving the room and the cleaning lady just accused me of taking the small blanket on top of the bed. It had one with colored circles on in the previous nights but when I got in last night it had a tan one on it. Noticed it, but didn’t think anything of it 🤷‍♂️. Had to show her the contents of my bag……I’m on a motorcycle! Because of this my 5 star service is now a 1 instead of a 5 and overall a 3. What started as a glorious day, one I’ve not had in a long while, is now tainted. She did apologize. Previous statements still stand other than staying here again. Sad 😞

Great spot! Great value for the money! It’s clean, safe and comfortable! Not too far from restaurants and just a short drive to downtown area! The staff is friendly and the parking is easy! We always have a good stay here, the room has a mini fridge and microwave for convenience as well! Always enjoy our stay!

Very nice rooms . And f ront desk was accommodating . Nice staff Quiet and clean rooms . I would recommend staying here . They hsd fridge , microwave and coffee all right in the room And lobby looks very cozy. Nice spacious rooms and very secure Located close to restraunts ect

Deceptive marketing. NO HOT BREAKFAST. Website advertises and even shows pictures of a hot breakfast like most Super 8 Motels. When I asked clerk at check-in why they advertised an amenitie that those don't have she flew off on me telling me why don't you go somewhere else. I explained to her that I'd paid through a 3rd party booking agency and would not be refunded the $200 I'd spent for 2 nights if I left. She kept trying to draw me into an argument saying why don't you just go somewhere else. I finally had to tell her that I was tired after a 5 hour drive, that I didn't want to argue with her, if I were to leave I'd be out $200, and to give me my key so that I could go to my room. Extremely rude. Older white woman with a butch, man's style haircut. I got to my room to discover that the t.v. remote does not work. I could turn the t.v. on at the t.v. without the remote, but I couldn't change the channel or adjust the volume. It was stuck on Spanish language t.v. After my experience at check-in I opted to not go to the office about the remote. I just didn't watch the t.v. during my 2 day stay. I normally go to the University Super 8 when in Waco and make it a habit of staying at Super 8 when I travel often with work. This experience was unlike any experience I've had with Super 8 before. I only stayed here this time because the reviews on the website made it sound like a good hotel. My experience was anything but pleasant. I guess those reviews were left by employees or the owner? Their website wouldn't allow me to leave a review. I definitely won't be back, and I'll warn everyone nit to.stay here.

broken toilet seat. Fell off toilet when anyone tried to sit on toilet. Dangerous, wife almost fell on floor.
