Inn of Uvalde

I was moved here after making a reservation at one of their other motels (motel 6) where I found yellow stains on the sheets, no pillow case on a pillow, dirty bath tub, dirty refrigerator and overall dirty room. They would not refund me and said we could move to the inn of Uvalde where the rooms were recently renovated and they had new beds. When we checked this room we found hair in the beds, mice droppings, stained fabric headboards and a large stain on the bathroom ceiling that had mold and was actively leaking water onto the toilet lid and floor. I was not about to stay and requested a refund which was denied!

My group of hunters have been staying here, 3 rooms, for 8 years now and this year made us realize we need to find other accommodations. I try not to complain but this year I have to. First of all the rooms were terrible, missing furniture and not clean at all. The front lobby had a vacant vending machine and the bar was closed down and no breakfast was offered this year. The price was 107.00 a night which was bad considering the amenities. This place has been great in the past but now its total crap and we wont be back and I told management this.

Our group had a horrible experience. Rooms were filthy, toilet was clogged, staff not friendly at all. I highly recommend to spend a few more bucks down the road elsewhere. DO NOT STAY HERE. Also keep in mind they charge a $150 deposit.

Check in real late, traveling all day. Needed to get a little sleep and would be traveling again in the am. Woke up to discover bed bugs on comforter, mattress, in the pillowcases and on the carpet. Very disturbing! Brought attention to this matter to the house keeping. She didn't look at all surprised. Went to check out. Waited and waited for manager to arrive at an unattended front desk to discuss the bed bug issue and of course talk about not having to pay for staying in a room infested with bed bugs. The manager denied that they were bed bugs, taking the opportunity to blame my beautiful dog, stating he had tics. I'm getting pretty upset by this point. She didn't even want to see the pictures I took with my phone. Clearly there was a bed bug issue. She told me to leave the premises. I had over a 100 bites on my body. BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

THE INN OF UVALDE is the worst hotel in Texas. The hotel is filthy with bugs. After i got there and realized how filthy it was I tried to check in with other hotels there were no vacancies the hotel quoted $67.00 a night then they charged me $75.00. After four nights they didn't even bother to straighten up the beds. The next day I checked out to another city in Texas (2 hours away). IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE DON'T GO THERE. THIS HOTEL IS DIRTY, SMELLY AND THEY ARE LIARS.
