Rose City Inn & Suites

No AC at main desk check in, had to be at lease 85 to 90 degrees in there. Little to no maintenance throughout the building and if they did try to repair or paint something it was cheaply done. Receptionist not very helpful or welcoming. Very outdated, remotes did not even have batteries in them. Smelled like mildew and dirty musky carpet, mildew in shower. Toilet seat and toilet paper holder almost falling off. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this place!!! My mom booked this place trying to save money, lesson learned for her, you truly get what you pay for. I didn’t even feel comfortable sitting on the chairs or bed in that building much less sleeping there

The covers are dirty and the floor wasn't done right but it's a safe,nice room.I have a big desk with drawers, fridge;a microwave with a missing leg and 2 small side tables with drawers.The light is in the middle of the room.It has 2 reading lights and 2 lamps. The free breakfast consists of muffins, coffee; cereal with milk and sometimes fruit. It's a solid 3-4 stars

Run as fast as you can from this hotel, it is filthy and disgusting. Right when we open the door to the reception area it smelled like dead animals. The place was in disarray and under construction with tools and equipment all over the floor risking a hazard. Our check in was at 2pm and we showed up at 3pm and they could not tell us if the room was ready after two coworkers yelled at each other they walked us up to one of the rooms and noticed that the fire alarm were either missing or hanging from the ceiling. As we walked down the hall there were linens all over the hallway, kids crying and adults screaming (at 3pm).

I read the bad reviews but decided to try it anyway. We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast area is small but had the usual items. I would not hesitate staying here again.

Outstanding staff friendly service. Clean rooms and great prices. Rooms are huge and the free breakfast is great. The staff is wonderful. Will definitely stay again. Absolutely the Best motel in Tyler TX!!
