Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano The Colony

Staff very polite, room the average beds terribly hard and small. Location great can walk to restaurants and shopping nearby by car. Easy to get on expressways. Shower was different with one end totally open, I didn't like it got cold on that end unless bathroom was heated up first but easy to exit if a senior. I would stay there again despite the beds.

Please do not stay here. This place has bed bugs. They will swear they had someone come out and there was no sign of bugs. I have reviewed several sites since my stay and similar parties had the same experience as me. Woke up to bites and irritation. Reported it later to be told they did an inspection which found no bugs. It’s egregious to see proof then once a person has checked out basically call them a liar. I expect so much more from Marriott. This place is not Marriott Standard and the campus Manager is never reachable. Then when she does respond it’s only to be extremely dismissive.

I had a terrible experience. I traveled for work and did my checkout on Thursday June 29th and I'm sure I forgot an Adidas hoodie in the closet. I called a day later to ask the staff to look for it, the people at the front desk did not give me a solution. I called two days later and even three days later and I did not receive any solution. I asked them to check the surveillance cameras because it had probably been stolen when the staff cleaned the room and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Terrible attention from the front desk staff. Also food was terrible and too expensive.

This is a nice Courtyard, I'd guess about 5 years old in a complex with 4 other Marriott hotels. Decent restaurants within walking distance if the front door. Nice and quiet, towels still in the mediocre side but the room was quiet, clean and overall a very good hotel. Easy on and off from the highway as well.
