Studio 6 San Antonio TX Airport

Horrible service...1st night couldn't even get new sheets cause my son threw up on bed and then the mattress is cover in stains and has a pee smell coming off of it and now on our second night the front desk was closed for over 2 hrs...2am-4am couldn't get any service even though there was a red vehicle and personal belongings by front desk...what a show this place has turned out to be...we have another 6 nights here....management attentiveness would be remarkable...

Arrived after dark, property smelled horrible. Lots of unsavory characters walking around. Front desk staff very nice and friendly. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Killed 5 roaches as soon as I walked in. Live roaches scurried when I opened kitchen drawers. Doors on furniture broken, floor sticky, mattress stained and worn with springs poking my back. Light cover missing and bathroom walls had water damage. Trash bags on all walkways, broken down vehicles in the parking lot, entire place needs a power washing. Planes taking off or landing late at night and early in the morning. Would not ever stay here again. Did not feel safe. Pay a few more bucks and stay in a safe clean motel.

The pictures will say it all about the type of motel this is. Went to check in, nothing but 3rd floor available with a reservation made over a month ago. Ok can deal. Have an elevator? No, both are broken down. I have a bad hip and knees. Not much I can do since I am waiting for hubby and son to fly in. I climb up in 100 degree heat, get to our room and neither keyboard worked. This whole time I need a restroom due to 7 hours on the road. Have to go back down. Counter person runs the cards again. I ask for the restroom. Sorry, it's out of order. Are you kidding me? Does anything work? Back up three flights in the heat. Open our room, first glance looks ok. Not. Im seriously wondering if someone was in the beds before. The room was used as a smokers room but they put us in it. Burn marks in bathroom gave it away. Tub was gross, tables had sticky stuff on them, microwave didn't have its glass turntable and was filthy. Stains on walls, top of refrigerator a greasy dusty mess. Bathroom towel bar missing off the wall, and last but not least a broken dresser. I have only ever walked into one place worse and I left. Studio 6 get your act together.

I booked this Hotel only for 1 night because I arrived late to The airport and looked as a good Idea to have a place to rest and continue my trip early in the morning. The first impression was pretty bad a really dirty place, no maintenance at all trash every where and the elevator were out of order. Then during the night a lot of noises car alarms wake us up a couple of times around 5 am The San Antonio Police knocked at my door really loud and told el that some one reported an armed guy running and for some reason my room where involved, after a quick explanation the police leaved the place. You can imagine my wife and kids after that scene I left the hotel as soon the sun started to shine really confused and scared. One of the worst place I ever been

We chose this motel because it was dog friendly and a decent price. We came to regret this as there was no phone in the room and the sheets hardly fit the mattresses and there was nothing protecting the mattress under the sheets. Disgusting. We asked for 2 days to get a sheet change and housekeeping kept refusing saying they weren’t told to do that. Finally they agreed to do so but we had to lock up the dogs and leave the room. There were valuables in the room that we didn’t want to leave in there when we weren’t there. They agreed to letting my mom stay in there in the corner while I was walking the dogs outside. We were told to let the maid know when the room was cleared out and when I went to inform her she wasn’t easily available so my mom went to talk to her and let her know. Twenty minutes went by and I called my mom to see if they had come by as it was cold and my dogs were shaking and they still hadn’t so she went to talk to them as I walked my dogs for 10 minutes longer. She went to talk to them again and found them talking in a vacant room and asked them to come change the sheets and then go back to the room. I came back up and brought the dogs into the bathroom with me and while I was in there they came back. One decided to get the trash out of the bathroom while I was on the toilet and seeing as there were no locks on the door she was able to let herself in. She apologized but then went to tell the head housekeeper and then they laughed about the incident. Luckily none of the dogs got loose. She apologized and closed the door and did something else. I finished up and came back out and stood out of the way keeping the dogs close to me. As they were leaving I heard them speak in Spanish and say the word p*ntas. I knew they were probably talking about us and didn’t make a big deal of it because I figured it was just a hard day. The next day when I went to renew the room, I was told the housekeeper had actually been a manager and she had decided there was a verbal altercation and I had sworn at a maid and had put us on the do not rent list to where we were no longer allowed to stay there. There was no warning and they did not allow us any time to collect our belongings and be on our way. Neither of us had yelled or sworn at a maid and a manager wasn’t available to speak with as we were leaving. I would NEVER tell anyone to stay here again.
