Staybridge Suites San Antonio Downtown Conv Ctr an IHG Hotel

I stayed here for a weekend trip to San Antonio. The location is not too far away from downtown. The room was clean, the breakfast was VERY GOOD. The parking was $30 through my stay. The staff members were nice. I really have no complaints! I would stay here again.

We stayed one night for the J-Hope concert and it was really great! We had a little kitchen with a good sized fridge and an ice maker in the freezer! The beds were really comfy, the water gets hot right away and they have great quality toiletries. We both had plenty of space to get ready for the concert and the staff even lent us an umbrella when we left because it had started raining. Genuinely one of my favorite hotel experiences. Great job, Staybridge!

Very clean hotel! Great breakfast! Great customer service! If you need something; towels,pillows etc: it is brought up to your room immediately. The elderly man that works there is very sweet and quickly to help! Over all would definitely choose to stay here again! 🙏🏼

Hotel was impeccably clean. Staff all smiles. Gloria at the front desk goes above and beyond with customer service. My king sweet was awesome! Great location next to train station and Espee event venue. Short distance to river walk and many other attractions.

PROS: The staff at Staybridge are amazing: friendly, professional, considerate. The rooms are nicely furnished, with plenty of amenities. The A/C does its job well. They get MeTV. CONS: It's an "old" building, which is part of its charm. Unfortunately, it presents some challenges in the noise department. Walls are paper-thin. One night, I was awakened by a woman having a loud conversation -- in the hallway, I assumed. Nope, upon investigation, she was in her room, two doors down! But that's how easily noise travels here. Then there's the elevators. Oh my. Every time they're in motion, you hear a sound resembling a rollercoaster passing overhead. It goes on all night, and you can't escape it. The A/C helps mask it, but it doesn't run all night. OVERALL: If you're an heavy sleeper, then you can't do much better than this for the price. If you're a light sleeper and have early morning obligations, then you'd probably be better off going with someplace more modern.
