Great Historic Hotel. Rooms are a bit small and it isn't as posh as some of the other Hotels in the area but we had a great view of the Alamo and the history was cool to learn about. The staff was friendly and the free wine tasting was an added bonus. My wife and I went for a romantic getaway and we were very pleased with our stay.

The building is gorgeous and historical, and right next to Alamo square and just a few blocks from the riverwalk. The room was comfortable and clean and perfect! This is a pet-friendly hotel. They gave my dog a gift bag when we checked in (she loved it). The wine bar downstairs was great and the hotel gives vouchers for a free tasting- it’s botanical wine, really different and delicious! I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful experience. Located close to the Alamo. The breakfast is the best I've ever had. The general manager takes the time to visit all the guests at breakfast. Cozy rooms in an old historic building. Parking down the street will save you money

This is a really lovely hotel! Wonderful location, historic building and yet all the mod cons. The staff were great, the bed was comfy, and the location is so convenient - you can see the Alamo from the hotel and it’s just a quick stroll to the Riverwalk.Would definitely recommend for all travellers looking to see the sights

Kara and Joy were the the best! I will not use another bartender, they are the best! Due to construction I still had a best time, ultimately due to Kara I had the best time and I would have just left because it was looking like it was closed. Kara is definitely an asset to any company. Hope these wind bar works out.
