When we opened the door and walked in, the horrible odor nearly knocked us down - like super strong cat urine. It was burning my throat. So, I went to talk to manager, and he gave us a different room. It wasn't much better. The sheets were ripped, the bed covers were dirty, old gum stuck on the floor, mold in the bathroom, and urine on the base of the toilet. Then - the toilet ran over. Everytime we used the toilet we had to plunge it to prevent it from running over. This place was so so nasty. Oh, and that smell at the first room? That was the smell of black mold. The carpet was a pool of bacteria and black mold. Evidently, no one cleans these rooms. In the coffee pot was a pod that had been there for awhile because it had mold on it. The coffee pot was also broken. No surprise. The curtains were dirty and ripped and the bottom of the shower curtain was black with filth. This property needs to be shut down. It is a health hazard. I don't have to have fancy but clean is a must!! Shame on you Econo Lodge.

we arrived to san antonio very tired and we found this āmotelā, but we never imagined in the terrible conditions in which it was, the heating does not work the room smells horrible there are no towels in good condition mistreated furniture, all disgusting and not because of the cleanliness but because it was in overly worn and dirty condition

The hotel is run by people from India, and they are not friendly! Itās obvious they donāt like Americans. They are using the Covid-19 excuse for no breakfast! It said online that the pet fee is $25, and charged me $50! It does not say per day or per pet! The bathtub had black mold, and hair in the bathtub. The wood floor is dirty, it makes your socks black! They have a coffee maker in the room with no coffee! There is no paper or plastic cups. They have 2 ice machines, and both are broken! They told me the one upstairs never worked, and the copper was stolen from the one down stairs. They said it had been broken for some time. The wifi is pretty bad! The toilet paper was improperly stocked with a little bit of nothing! I had to take it to the office to get a full roll. They charged me a $50 deposit and did not refund it! The unfriendly Indian lady told me it was for not smoking in the room. I have to go by in person to find out why the $50 was not refunded. Their phone is out of order, or the crooks have unplugged it! They are ripping you off, so they donāt want to answer the phone. My confirmation number was 82594310. I am a diamond member!

Worst place I've ever stayed at first room that was given to me smelled like pee so they gave us a different room, we went out to to eat and when we came back we found 2 dead cockroaches and we killed another one, there's candy wrappers in the room, the bed sheet are dirty and the bathroom is extremely dirty, this room has not been cleaned in a long time. When we went to complain and try to get our money back they told us to wait until 9am for the manager. And the employee on duty literally laughed at our face for complaining. This has been the worse night ever they should really close this place.

I stayed in late march 2022 in 1 king <$70/n, $50 deposit. The hotel is undergoing some changes, lobby and pool closed with staff behind glass, no breakfast, no ice (all machine broken), no elevator in 2 story bldg, 50% of room needs work/paint/repair. First room minifridge, dresser did not work and room needed general maintenance. Second room I had to fix the toilet (parts were there just not installed) and it needed maintenance. All bed linens had cigarette burns and covers had tears. I ASSUME beds are being replaced as 6-8 were downstairs in the walkways making it impassible. Room was clean, no sign of bed bugs, property is well lit, off duty police officer in parking lot.
