Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Angelo

Close to everything, comfortable, clean & the house keeping staff was absolutely amazing. Hot water in the shower could be hotter. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were courteous and efficient. Thank you, I will stay here again.

Pros: It was a good price, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast available was good. Cons: The shower water was not hot at all, it was barely above body temperature. Morning or evening shower, didn’t matter you could not get hot water. The room had an odor when we got there. Luckily we travel with air freshener.

I usually do not leave reviews but this one deserves a warning. We were informed that we are now placed on a "No stay list" after being accused of unspeakable damage five days after a one night stay at their hotel in San Angelo, Texas. We did not do any damage. Maybe it was done by the next guest or the "remodeling" crew working on the hotel, or the homeless person who kept asking us for money at the door. I don't know, but we did not damage the room!

Good value for the stay. They are navigating renovations as best they can without disruption to service. Well done. Breakfast selection is a bit sketchy- good -bit limited in selection. Perhaps that will improve as the renovations complete.

Clean; great deal for the money! Easy check in and check out. Rooms are clean and smell fresh; the beds are comfortable. Did not try the breakfast but people look pleased with it. The staff is friendly and attentive. The parking lot is clean, easy access to the highway. Will definitely book again when in the area.
