Element Austin Round Rock

Perfect location to get to downtown Round Rock and avoid the interstate traffic. Lavish, complimentary breakfast options. King suite was super cozy, with cold AC and bedroom located away from hallway, so no noise complaints. Shared a parking lot with Aloft, which has a bar that you can unwind at, if that’s your vibe. Great staff interactions. Only issue is mine and a friends room had sugar ants in kitchen and bath. This was a non-issue for both of us, though should be addressed by the hotel (we were in 419 and 431 I think). I will stay here on my next visit to Round Rock next month.

I am not one to leave reviews but it was not a good experience at all. We stayed on tje 2nd floor and it smelled like smoke or an old apartment. It took me washing my clothes three times to get the smell out. On top of that, we saw two large roaches in our room. We told the housekeeper but she didn’t seem to care and then we told the manager and he just said sorry. I stayed here based on the reviews off Google but I should have looked at this closer off Yelp and Trip Advisor. There is a reason this hotel doesn’t have good ratings. To top it off, you can’t even leave a review on Google which leads me to think they disabled the reviews section because they weren’t getting good feedback

Easy to find and check in was a breeze. The room, as always with Element, was awesome. I ordered food in and I waited in the lobby for delivery. Had a very nice conversation with the young lady at the desk. Thankfully, she gave me several recommendations for things to do in Austin. We toured the capitol building and went to Zilker Park on our visit. They have a really nice breakfast, including a coffee machine that makes cappuccino, etc. Tip: adjust the time for the milk to 20 seconds for the cappuccino or you will overflow the cup. Laundry facilities are available on site. And they have complimentary beer, wine, and light snacks M-TH. Just a really nice stay. Everyone is so helpful. The kitchen is very nice; I like the special faucet for filtered water to fill your water bottle.

Repeat visitor - very clean and quiet. Very personable and friendly staff. Did I mention quiet and feel rested? If not shame on me, definitely worth staying at. One of my favorite Elements - try it out next time you’re in Round Rock or Austin North.

I traveled to AUS on a business trip and choose Element because they are approved through my company for travel/stay. Let me start by saying I had high hopes as the pictures were great and it is a hotel by The Westin! My room was fantastic and super clean! I rated the hotel 2 stars because I COULD NOT GET ANY SLEEP!! There is no sound barrier between floors so you will need to stay on the highest floor. I had to call the service desk multiple times asking them to ask the people at the pool at 2am talking to please stop. Again ZERO sound barrier. I felt like I was in an apartment and my upstairs neighbor weighed 500lbs and kept setting multiple alarms to wake up, which in turn woke me up every time! To the point that my right eye was swollen when I left because I literally got no sleep and was exhausted and tired. My eyes were so strained. If you are a heavy sleeper...you are going to love it. If you sleep light...keep looking or get a room on the highest floor away from the elevator and pool!
