La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond Sugarland

We came from a longhaul flight UK to Texas and were very tired. We choose the La Quinta because it was off the main roads and looked very quiet. We were super tired and we asked for a quiet room. The room was good, beds were very compfy but unfortunatly we got on both sides neighbours (which were not the quietest ones) - not what I was asking for (specially when you are not even half full booked). So that was it with a quiet night. Breakfast was surprisingly nice.

Nice clean fast check in and out free breakfast was great Very quite location. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was good dove product to shower with while staying. I will be back. It by McDonald's and gas station. Not to far from 59. And from the mall as well

I realize since Covid that hotels have become very disappointing and this one is no exception. The hotel is clean which is the best thing I can say for it. The coffee is so nasty that no one in our group could drink it. The breakfast is very limited and the same thing day after day. It was very cold when we were there and even though we would put the heat on, it would run on heat for a while and then switch back to air conditioning. Every time it started blowing cold air, we would have to cut it off and wait a while to put the heat back on. We've stayed here twice and I wasn't impressed either time and I don't intend to stay again. We make frequent trips to the area to see my mom who is in assisted living but we'll find somewhere else to stay from now on.

Great stay! friendly staff (everyone greated us pleasantly with a smile including the housekeepers & breakfaststaff), room was clean and in good condition, breakfastwas good & well stocked, & room temperature indoor pool. They don't advertise it as heated, but it had warming jets keeping it from being to cold to enjoy!

Its acceptable Hotel, at least you can sleep at night, but recommended to change the carpet or not to use carpet at all specially with lack of proper maintenance. Carpet system needs special attention at it collect mites and fungus which is very bad.
