Overall, it was a good experience. The room was very clean, better than most hotels I've stayed in. There were no bugs, whatsoever that I saw. Fresh towels -- lots of towels -- and linens. There is a safe for your valuables, which is a nice touch, and there was also plenty of hot water for my showers. I felt safe, coming and going, and liked that there were restaurants nearby. The front desk staff was friendly to me, and helpful. The bath was large enough to accommodate my pet's bowls, etc., and easy to keep clean. A bit noisy at night, not so much people but you do get some weird, intermittent industrial-type sounds and there was someone near me that seemed to be coming and going a lot from the door sound. But you can get that in any hotel. The beds were very comfortable. This one goes on my list of hotels worth staying in.

I was staying for a week at the ALoft and for me it was perfect for what I needed ! I didn't have any problem with hot water in the shower (not the strongest pressure but I'm not there for a massage) Bed was confy and the window blind was really darkening the room, which was very good!! The hotel location is quiet and close to restaurants and shopping centers. The area is nice to walk outside. The only thing fo rme is the lack of a parking lot, which makes parking difficult sometimes.

Very disappointed with the stay. Had a hard time with the shower water getting and staying hot. The air conditioner thermostat (wall mount) didn't work. I spoke with staff who didn't bother to let me know they are swapping out units and the controls are now on the unit itself. I had to mention the thermostat no working the next day and was told about the unit replacements. I will not be staying there again and would prefer to take my chances elsewhere.

I never had a hot shower while staying here. It took 15 minutes to get even lukewarm water. Other visitors had the same complaint. The shower had no ledge, insert or shelf, so razors and other accessories had to go on the shower floor. Service seemed indifferent.

I would give this -10 stars if I could. I had the most awful experience here I checked in on 12 December and had no hot water. On 13 December having utilized the gym to work out for my workday, I returned and there was still no hot water, it was freezing cold. I notified the manager that there was two days of cold water and the manager Cameron not accommodating, in fact, he was rude. He would not let me check out stating that there was a plumber fixing the hot water. I had to go to a friend’s house shower and prepare for my day. Cameron promised that the water would be fixed by end of day. Saturday as I was exiting the elevator I ran into a lady who said that there was no hot water since that Monday. This hotel allowed me to check in under false pretenses, knowing full well that there was no hot water and did not give me the option to make a decision whether maintain my reservation. We pay for the basic human necessities staying at hotels. This is completely unacceptable. After much debate with Cameron, he finally promised to refund me for the next day +25% off for the two previous days and Marriott credits. Well, we can guess how that goes. I did call my credit card company and they called Cameron and he promised to refund me $197, and the 25% off which I still haven’t received. He was very reluctant and rude to even give that knowing full well he was deceptive and what was going on with the hotel. I would never recommend anyone checking into this hotel. Aloft and Marriott do better!!
