La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pearsall

I specifically checked the pet fee - Pasted right now from the Pearsall LaQ website "Fees - Non-refundable 25 USD nightly for up to 2 pets. Max 75 USD per stay." and when I got to the hotel. The front desk person said that it was PER DOG so I had to pay $50. I said "But your website says up to 2 pets for $25" "NO, it is per pet" "So, how am I supposed to know this when your website says up to 2 pets?" Then, 2 other random employees came over to say that I was completely wrong. Wow. Thanks, I was too tired to pull up the website on my phone. This was not a friendly welcome.

This La Quinta was a big disappointment. We had a huge room and that was great. But the carpets in this place were absolutely stained beyond belief as was a lot of the upholstered furniture. There was also an odor in our room. The blanket was too short for the king sized bed. Breakfast was a disappointment. No fruit. No sweet rolls. Had to go into the lobby (which wasn’t far) to just get water! Not up to standard of LaQuinta. The place looks great on the outside, but the inside definitely needs cleaning up, repairing and remodeling.

No complaints the staff was welcoming and the service was great the room was clean as usual the amenities were great and the hotel was nice and quiet. Parking was convenient and close, checking out was hassle free
