The hotel was easy to find, outside was very well kept, in a nice neighborhood. We did not have time to really explore the hotel but it seemed to offer a lot. Once inside, the lobby was also very nice. The manager on duty was extremely nice, and processed our stay quickly. Our room was clean and ready, the only issue we had was noise neighbors. I would absolutely stay here again.

First visit to Odessa, not sure where to stay. This one got nice reviews - was not disappointed. Clean/quite room, great front desk, good rate, played mini-golf and swam. Nice stay! Wasn't hungry, so I didn't get a chance to sample restaurant.

Rooms are not clean, definitely want to keep your shoes on. We had to be careful about the bathroom door because it wouldn't open from inside once closed. Complimentary breakfast buffet is almost empty by 8am even though they say breakfast is until 9am. You will do a lot of asking and waiting for food. Restaurant Sunday morning is definitely more interested in its brunch crowd from town than paying hotel guest. Dinner buffet and complementary drink were good, one of better amenities from the hotel for sure. If you are going with a large family be aware you cannot sit out in the common area after 10 to visit and be together because they have a curfew and you will be told you can't be there and sent to your room. Pool area is more worried about bracelets than cleanliness. It states no lifeguard but they have a person who sits in a lifeguard seat but does nothing other then check for bracelets. There were shining bright spots in our visit but not a lot. Also check in does not necessarily happen at 3. One room wasn't ready until around 5. And they are knocking on your door by 10am asking when you are checking out. Being told you are not free to move about a property you paid to be at is very strange. Overall I would say book elsewhere.

I drove over 1,300 miles in order to make it to an oil convention at this facility. I got to the MCM Grand Hotel around 2 am, which was earlier than expected. I asked how much a room would be. They claimed all they had left were suites that were running $150.00 + tax. I told them there was no way I was paying $150+ for four hours in one of their hotel rooms and that I would just sleep in my Tahoe for the 4 hours. I no more than got my seat reclined and closed my eyes before security approached my vehicle and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave even though they knew I was there for the convention and could clearly see that I had valid and up-to-date Indiana plates of my SUV. In my opinion, this is extremely greedy and poor behavior simply because they couldn't gouge me for over $150 for four hours or less in one of their sub-par rooms.

This use to be our family's place to get away from home. It's changed so much over time. I recently stayed here to bring my kids to enjoy a nice evening at the pool only to have kids bully my son and their parents were nowhere to be found. It amazes me how many of the parents just dump their kids at the pool with no adult supervision. Our room was filled with the smell of marijuana, I guess coming from the vents. The rooms need alot of updating and a good cleaning. The t.v. in our room had tons of caked on dust and overall the room was very unpleasant. This place needs some serious renovations. I will say the staff is amazing, but I will never bring my family to stay here again.
