This is not against the hotel at all. The hotel staff were very kind, the room smelled and looked clean. The location of this hotel does not seem to be in a safe area. From local police being called within an hour of our stay on other guests, to hearing gun shots 3 different times during the night, if there is anywhere safer to stay, it is highly recommended. Our phone rang randomly during the night, which woke us up. Just don’t stay here.

A place to spend the night, the War Department (my bride) HATED IT, it could be fixed. Room 220 experience: Negatives: - Strong marijuana smell in stairwells, faint throughout - Bath/shower didn't work, only sink and toilet had water - No ice machines on our floor- wouldn’t be a problem but I was as far as I could possibly be from lobby. Don’t know if there is one down there because it’s a 15 min round trip from our room. - Ancient TVs with limited channels, poor picture quality. - Strange smell causing congestion and headaches- bride up ALL NIGHT w/noises and smell causing headache. - Dirty exterior (moldy awnings) and old/dirty interior (gross carpets, spills in hallways) - Non-functional charging outlets between beds. - Only one coffee cup provided (who cares but I’m here so I’ll include it) -Broken elevator Positives: - Lots of work trucks, suggesting outstanding security. Thugs don’t want to mess with linemen and oil field guys- my truck was safe. - Relatively quiet, despite some noise from upstairs, heard every step he made but sounded like he came home and just crashed. - Spacious room with living room, kitchen, and separate bathroom…OLD furniture. Room was clean enough, beds and pillows were okay. Would stay again if alone and free/cheap, but badly needs remodeling. Suggestions: upgrade TVs, replace carpets, add ice makers, ensure facilities work, address dope smoking issues. I would put an ozone machine and scent generator on the entire HVAC system. Ozone flat works on odors…I guess people don’t drink so much anymore, they smoke dope because I smell it everywhere now. Ok, fine…just do it outside! Used points for free stay, but felt wasted on a hotel needing improvements. Size is great, but cleanliness and amenities need work.

Room's HVAC air intake vent was filthy and the vent for cold air had obvious signs of long term mold and mildew (see photos). The elevator was not working, so it was a walk up the stairs to the third floor with baggage in a stifling hot stairwell with no AC. Choose another hotel. Hilton obviously should have revoked Longview Homewood Suites' franchise a long time ago, and it is inexcusable that Hilton district management continues to allow Longview Home Suites to fly the Hilton flag with these conditions, particularly when it comes to exposing guests to AC systems spewing mold and mildew into the room.

This is a really nice place to stay while on a business trip or extended stay in the area. Our room was very spacious with a separate room from the bedroom to work and eat. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of seating in the living room. The suite came with a kitchen with all the settings needed, microwave, refrigerator, table and two chairs, nice comfy sitting chair, and cozy couch. There were blackout shades for the windows which helped get a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic!!! Lots of options including a Tex-Mex breakfast burrito that you make yourself! The staff was fantastic as well from the friendly front desk to the wonderful, warm breakfast host who hustled non-stop. A very nice option for a very nice stay.

first room we were assigned to the room was not clean it was dirty and out of place. fast food was on the table the light were on and the bed sheets were all over the floor and there was food on the ground. Then we were assigned to another hotel room which was better than first by far beyond but the bed sheets in the new room were stained and smelled bad. i would save my money if i could go back in time.
