This motel is garbage. As soon as we pulled up in the front we KNEW it was bad. Apparently this place has been âunder renovation â for years, but it looks like they renovate on the cheap. The rooms are definitely a dated, budget roadside motel aesthetic. The room was dingy looking everywhere yet reeked of bleach, the bathtub was absolutely nasty with old hard water stains, cracked, sloppily fixed tiles, and globby, awful caulking. There were mosquitoes in the room, and the mattress was thin and cheap with really dingy sheets and bedspread. The ice bucket was a cheap measuring cup style oil container that had âIce Bucketâ written on the side in sharpie marker, there was a container of bug killer on the front porch, the chairs on the porch were cheap mismatched junk, and the baseboards were filthy all around the room. We didnât even stay the night because I just couldnât stomach it, so we left at 11:00 pm. The pics on their website are strategically placed to get the best angle of the rooms and grounds, but itâs truly deceptive. The only nice thing I noticed was the wonderful old oak tree in the front, and the outdoor bbq area and patio seemed ok. This hotel could be nice, but itâs old, dated, and nasty. Trust me. DONâT GO HERE. I was charged $135 for a room that shouldnât be any more than $50 a night. This place way overcharges during Roundtop because I guess they can. Not cool. Total waste of money.

Lovely quaint motel. Itâs great just being able to pull up to the door and unload after a long day on the road. Huge clean room with microwave and fridge. The pink retro bathroom was wow!!!! Fluffy towels and good amenities. Alice at check in and check out was super friendly. Comfortable bed and very quiet.

This is an unstaffed hotel. Reservations online. You can choose your room. Knowing what I now know, I would have chosen between rooms 2 through 8. Rooms 1 and 9 are next to the office and seem pretty small. None of the rooms are big. Adequate lodging for one night. There is a fire pit which we used and had a nice little fire with a cocktail. There are not many choices, so this place is one of the few options outside of AirBnb's

Can't say this is a great motel. Room was extremely dirty and the beds were so uncomfortable you could feel the springs. Of course nothing is perfect, but this was bad. Bathroom and tub made you want to keep your socks on. i would highly recommend other accommodations.

Room smelled strongly of bleach. Mattress smelled bad and wasnât comfortable. Bathtub faucet didnât work - only hot water - and tub / tile were in very poor shape. Old chairs and junk were in front of rooms; place is old and in need of updating badly. Breakfast was juice and granola bars.
