Oyo Hotel Junction Tx I 10

Very shabby and grimy. Door handles, light switches and bedside tables dirty. Looks like it's not been cleaned decently in years. Bedding was decent. TV worked but just couldn't handle the grim. Creepy place. The website shows a room with vinyl flooring but room 100 had nasty carpet. I should have slept in my car. Loud interstate noise.

Needs TLC and pavement repair at all entrances. Entry in and out of the hotel is extremely filled with potholes that are deep and impossible to miss which did not impress me right off the bat. Management was not friendly and seemed to act as if I was bothering them. The lounge was not available to use as that's where the owner's were entertaining their children. It is pet friendly and has smoking rooms but these are narrowed to 4-5 rooms only. There are at least a dozen feral cats on this property and as a result staff is strict about "leash Law" being enforced. Room was clean and water pressure good. TV reception fair but internet was doable. This hotel is typical of properties taken over by OYO. Insides are clean but outsides of property leave alot to be desired and rundown. The plus side is there is a gas station, conveinence store and Indian restraunt right next door. The freeway I-10 is easy on..easy off access. This was originally Segovia Inn.

We checked in on a Friday night. The front desk was extremely rude when I told them that I was traveling with my 3 young boys for work. I was then told that I needed to pay an extra $30 to allow them to stay so I did. The next morning (around 3am) I was awakened when being bit by bed bugs. I immediately awoke my children and they were completely covered in bites. I called the front desk and was told they could move me to another room but would not allow a refund. I lost a total amount of $190 and two days of not being able to work due to not having a place to stay or money for another hotel. I was also confronted by the "property manager" and was told that I was the one who brought the bed bugs with me and they refused to accompany me to the room and see for their selves the evidence I had found (bed bugs and blood on the sheets). My children and I are traumatized and I will be following up with the health department. Please..... do not stay here. You will regret it completely. The pictures look nice but this motel is anything but.
