Red Roof Inn Dallas DFW Airport North

I recently stayed at Red Roof Inn Dallas/Fort Worth and unfortunately, my experience was not great. The room had a strong musty and cigarette odor, which made it uncomfortable. The overall feel of the hotel gave off a sense of insecurity, which added to my discomfort during the stay. The only positive aspect of my visit was the shower – it had great water pressure, and that was a pleasant surprise. However, the hotel does not offer breakfast, and the only thing available is coffee in the lobby, which felt very limited. Another positive point was the convenient airport shuttle service, which was helpful. Given the issues with the smell, security concerns, and lack of amenities, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Don’t waste your money! We were only there to sleep after a long day of flying, but the non-smoking room smelled of smoke. There was nothing deluxe about the deluxe king room-tiny, paint peeling, linoleum floor coming up at the corners, etc. yes, it’s cheap, but I’d look somewhere else to stay.

My stay was quite short. Before the trip, but only after I booked, I read the reviews and some were not great. However, from the check-in to check-out, everything was exactly the way it should be. Check-in process was simple, room was clean and had more than what I need for a 1-night stay. Work space was large, office chair comfortable, bathroom equipped well, etc. Airport shuttle goes every 40 minutes, starting at 03:30 AM. For those coming in late, there is a fast food restaurant across the street.

Nasty dumpy place with RAOCHES! Person at desk said they would "report it". Ya, like I am the first person to report ROACHES!! Just read other reviews! I stayed here when my friend flew in from Dallas but had to stay elsewhere before his return flight. He knows how much I HATE ROACHES so didn't tell me until I asked him why he turned on the water for the shower but then quickly turned it off. He said because ROACHES were coming out of the drain! I was packed up and gone 15 minutes later! I am calling the board of health and there should be a LAW I don't have to pay for staying in this DUMP. I am contacting my credit card company tomorrow! AVOID THIS ROACH INVESTED DUMP!
