Fraudulent charges showed up on my credit card, and on a friend's credit card who was staying in a different room, immediately after staying here, resulting in the hassle of my credit card getting cancelled. Hot water was broken during our stay. Room illumination was poor. Didn't like shower curtain intruding when trying to shower. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign available for the room. Housekeeping did not speak any English; I should not have to use a Translate app to communicate with staff. Our double-queen room was large, but we will not stay here again.

Overall, we had a pretty good stay for one night at this property. We arrived at about 7:30pm on 01/02/2025 and we had checked in with the app. We selected Room 218 and went to the room. Unfortunately, we had to switch immediately. Someone had the temperature up at 75 degrees and it was sooooo hot. This room did not have a thermostat, which we found weird, and the buttons on wall unit were not easy to operate. In addition, the bathroom door did not close easily in 218. We did switch rooms and given 219 directly across the hall. This one was much cooler and HAD A THERMOSTAT. Not sure how you miss such a vital and important part of a room, or even why this hotel would have some rooms with and some rooms without one. Either way, 219 was far superior. The beds were comfortable, the room was in very good condition and so much more. The only issue with 219 is that the floor tile in the bathroom is quite loose. Otherwise, this room was nice. Overall, a older hotel that has been newly remodeled. I just wish they would pay attention to some of the finer details as described above.

According to the service provided Hilton does not value its customers, and I feel that we have been taken advantage of at the expense of Hilton making money. This issue could have been resolved, and in the process I would have paid more money to justly compensate for the correction. Instead your company has exhibited a disregard for customers that have faithfully stayed in their facilities across the U.S. This experience will be shared and discussed with anyone who is willing to listen. Thank you for the distaste you have given me for this company and those affiliated with Hilton. Some time ago it was a typical statement that ā€œthe customer is always rightā€ clearly this is not the sentiment of Hilton today. Granted this issue was an error on my part, but as previously mentioned I would have happily paid extra to make up for the difference. The lack of care for your customers is all to apparent at the expense of Hilton making a few extra dollars.

Side and back doors to hotel are NOT secure. Front doors are under construction so was told side door has to stay open and back door isn’t working so anyone has access to the ground floor! About to ask for a room change at 9pm . This is ridiculous and can’t believe the hotel wants this level of liability. Communicated to front desk and was told ā€œ your room is secureā€ and ā€œour manager watches the camerasā€. I get this property is a lower level hotel but safety and security should still be a priority. Will never be back!

Flight cancellation caused me to find this oasis of comfort and care. Remodeled very clean room, great breakfast and good staff. Staff person Laquintha R even went to hotel next door to find me a toothbrush and razor, all with a smile! HI&S are dependable quality and this one is tops.
