La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Bush IAH South

This was a good place to stay for an early morning flight through IAH. The room was clean and they had free coffee in the lobby. My only complaints were that they did not have that many shuttle times in the morning and the breakfast does not start until 7am on the weekends so it meant I had to leave earlier than I would have and had to miss the breakfast.

Hotel it self is not bad.Clean and secure. Service is ok.Breakfast was ordinary .Location is convenient which is close to Airport. Rooms are big enough.However,It would have been better if there was no carpets.Bathroom was a bit tricky after some time .Hot water was not coming properly. But in general.I recommend it

Reception okay, room clean and just right, breakfast good and sufficient, only plastic cutlery and paper plates were a surprise, airport transfer from hotel without problems. From airport has to be called to the hotel and ask for it, there is no posinility to share flight number and ask fo pick up.

Chose hotel as they offer free shuttle. Called at 1230 p.m. for transfer and was advised next transfer at 3 p.m. and to take uber or taxi. Cost us $30 for uber. On arrival at 1 p.m. agent asked if wanted early checkin for additional $40. I said no and asked why no regular shuttle and was told he called in sick. I said I would like to have free early checkin for my inconvenience. Told no and had to wait until 3 p.m. with toddler. Second agent said if I don’t like it I can go somewhere else. Asked to speak to manager but not available. Pathetic. Customer service was terrible. Room had sex toys under the bed. Never again! Stay somewhere else.

This was an excellent property and very good value in the vicinity of Houston Bush airport (approx 10-15 minutes via shuttle) The rate was very reasonable and included round trip airport shuttle and a generous buffet breakfast. The lobby was bright, cheerful and spotless, as were the rooms. There is also a lovely pool and large garden area to sit and relax. The "Hot Biscuit" restaurant is a 5 minute walk with excellent food. There were 6 couples and we all enjoyed our stay prior and after to our Galveston cruise,
