Dervin provided excellent service in helping me load many boxes in my car. He did it with a smile. All the staff was great - and appreciated the upgrade at check in. Rooms could be updated and some of the furniture was worn but that’s my only negative feedback.

Jairo with the valley was such a pleasure. So helpful with our luggage and shuttle trips. Very respectful and so kind. Made our trips to and from work convention very smooth and easy. Hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive. Will absolutely book and stay here again.

Looks better in the photos. Room was fine though I was upgraded to a whirlpool bath - but the whirlpool feature did not work. After using the non 100% functional tub, the tap leaked and the drips kept me up at night. It was fixed by maintenance after I reported the issue the next day. Food was another area of disappointment. I looked at the website and picked out dishes I wanted to order from the menu, featuring blue crab. When I went to order I found that the menu was terribly out of date and much cheaper comfort food-centric dishes were all that was available. Please update your website to avoid this disappointment or bring back more upscale dishes. The food I did order was good. The spa is terrible. It was awful in just about every way. I know that it is independent from the hotel but given you've chosen to associate with it as a tenant, I would warn other people off trying it in my hotel review. I'm sorry to have wasted my money there. I hoped that my room would be serviced while at breakfast but while I was away around 9am on two mornings, it wasn't. On my day of checkout, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9am. Why? Why not wait until I had checked out. Front desk staff were pleasant and courteous. Though this hotel was overall a little disappointing, the relatively inexpensive price is why I'm giving it four stars in light of the value proposition.

My shuttle driver Jairo and the free shuttle service at Houston Hotel ICON is friendly, reliable and dependable. At arrival for check-in while here on business for a 7,000 person conference I had accidentally left my entire purse t in the convention center! Jairo immediately assisted and took me right back tlin the free shuttle to retrieve my wallet and was so kind after a very long day to wait for me to locate it so I could check in seamlessly. Due to his patience 🙏 and understanding I quickly found my purse; ID and made that moment stress-free and rest my stay seamlessly relaxing. He is a gem and asset to the hotel team!

Jairo was the nicest person! Somehow a huge bug got into my vehicle and he swooped in without me asking and took care of it with a smile and no fear the hotel was nice as well but Jairo was the best person that worked on the staff inside or outside of the hotel.
