Hampton Inn Houston Downtown

Stayed here while in town for a company meeting. Also did the meeting at the hotel. The room I stayed in was great. Ac worked awesome and quiet. Shower was in great working order. Had no issues with the stay. Meeting room was good. The food supplied by the hotel during the meeting was really good too.

I paid for room at a premium rate to ensure a safe stay near our venue. At a late check-in, I was charged again for the room. I requested a manager and was told I could speak to one in the morning after I was charged a second time for the room. Beware - do not let them do this to you. After an hour of my vacation time and calling multiple Hampton numbers, I was promised the charge would drop in 3-5 business days.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I doubt that the room was even cleaned when we got there. Within seconds of checking in, my card was charged for $150 for incidentals I had not even used. There was no toilet paper. There was no conditioner! The room smelled. The breakfast was meager at best! When I check out I was told I would receive a refund for incidentals and I am still waiting. I believe that it is called theft when someone takes your money without permission!! Please do not stay at this hotel it is not worth it.

I travels alot for work and stay pretty much everywhere and this hotel is the best! Perfect location ,FREE breakfast (Could be better and have different options, guess because it’s free they really don't care about what they serving) clean rooms/common areas and to top it off is the service AWESOME service!! Valet could do better not so friendly but everyone inside the hotel is Great especially Travis omg this gentleman is funny asf lol he always made my mornings. You would think a person would be all cranky and not in the mood from working the overnight shift not this guy every morning 5am I come down and what i see a big a** smile not telling me good morning but singing me good morning gorgeous oh that made my day every morning! I come down thru out the night just to chit chat because his energy i love it and his dance moves. Not only that but he do actually take care of his guest because i watch him interact with every person and he is just amazing. Staycation or Vacation I recommend you give this hotel a go best decision for accommodation!!

Awesome weekend!! Had a great time in Houston aka Htown as they say! Highly recommend this hotel because Travis is Amazing!! The service, the energy this dude is a whole vibe!! Always pump up no matter what time of the night even at 3am this dude energy is lit lit love it!! everyone we encounter provided great service Travis is just my fave he really take care of his guest!! the pool looked good but because of the weather we didn’t get in but the gym is spacious and good. Free bkfast it’s regular food nothing special about it but hey its free food and The location of the hotel is average overall i will be returning and this is my new home away from home.
