Embassy Suites Houston Downtown

What a colossal disappointment! From when we pulled up, the valet stand can hold about 2 cars on a fairly busy street. Though fairly clean the layout is extremely less than exciting. Extremely choppy layout, absolutely nothing here feels or appears to be anything close to anything but a maze of sleeping quarters with zero ambiance or flow. The pool is located between 2 high rises where it would appear there maybe 60 minutes of sun on a good day! Extremely disappointing

So very disappointed with this location. I called the day before I arrived to ensure there weren’t any feather pillows and was assured they don’t use feather pillows. Only to arrive and the pillows were down filled. Not cool I’m highly allergic and don’t go to Marriot because of an allergic reaction from the supposedly down free room. Not ok!

I will definitely stay again when in the Houston area. My room was spacious and modern (enough). Short walk to the convention center, Toyota Center, & Minute Maid Park. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic in an area where meals are not cheap. They only offer Valet parking, which is pricey but I was able to self-park in the nearby 1550 Parking ramp for $40/night.

I stayed for 2 nights for a business trip. Everything about this property was fantastic. The decor was nice and in great condition. The evening reception and breakfast were wonderful with lots of options and great food quality. The room was quiet and clean. The gym was well stocked and the eqipment was in good order. The only complaint I have is that the outdoor hot tub (which was open in January! Yay!) smelled a bit mildewed.

During my recent visit to Hilton Grand Vacations, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Destiny. While visiting my sister and niece who were staying at the Embassy Suites in downtown near the Toyota Center, Destiny’s incredible presence left a lasting impression. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous with the most beautiful smile, but her energy is truly unmatched. She is warm, friendly, and radiates positivity in every interaction. You can immediately tell she has an amazing soul and genuinely loves making people feel welcomed and cared for. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and uplifting attitude made her the true highlight of my trip and visit. Destiny, thank you for being such a shining light! Hilton Grand Vacations is beyond fortunate to have you. I’ll be telling everyone I know to visit this property—and to make sure they meet you.
