Texas Inn Harlingen

Surprised that inexpensive room was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable. Loved the Texas shaped waffle. Only complaint was that when asked if we needed anything for room, and we answered fresh towels, we got just that...clean towels. They didn’t make bed or clean floors. If you stay here, be sure to clarify if you want bed made too. Bathroom obviously recently remodeled. Didn’t really notice highway noise. Good price for clean room.

Worked well for us, as we stayed just one nite, and it was a great location for the things we did that day. Bass Pro Shop, is just across the street, with restaurants nearby too. Rooms were clean, and in reasonable shape. Pool area looked inviting, and was in the center of the complex. Check in was fast, as we had a reservation. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for 3 nights while having dental work done across the border. Pros: Roomy, fridge and microwave, clean, easy access, price! Cons: Pool had algae and tiles had not been cleaned. Outside in dire need of upkeep. Bed was hard and horrible. For the price it was a good deal!

The hotel was clean, check in was fast and simple... but the beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms look old but the bathroom look newly renovated so that was good, but the beds could really improve. Breakfast was decent, but it could also be better. The room had a fridge, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer and coffee maker so that was cool. Overall it was fair for the price, we only stayed there one night while passing through Harlingen so it was what we needed. I’d stay there again.

Very good! We loved the room. Very clean. Enjoyed the shower. Breakfast was okay. Usual items: waffle machine, cereal, toaster, fruit, coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Too cold for the pool.
