La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth Lake Worth

Terrible front desk service: rude and extremely unhelpful, except for the gentlemen that worked the late night shifts. Pool and spa were “closed”, but clearly working. Had to get the AC unit replaced. Bathroom floors were warped. TV service was cable in one room and Roku in the other. Not up to the standarda of LaQuinta’s of the past (this one is not corporate owned and it shows). We will NOT be back.

I do not take negative reviews lightly but this is one time I feel it is justified. We are not divas but this was beyond unacceptable. Positives – (1) Room seemed clean when we arrived. Negatives – (1) Bathroom sink was clogged – when we called the manager (?) up, he seemed irritated and said they were busy because of the weekend! (2) No room service - We were there three days. Not once did they come clean our room. I went to the front desk to get towels. The clerk assured me housekeeping would be up on the second day. Did NOT happen. We had to go down again for towels and took our trash out! However, on the morning we were checking out, housekeeping was knocking at 9:00 a.m. (Do Not Disturb sign not available). (3) Coffee bar sink leaked (continual dripping). (4) Breakfast area – limited quantity of foods and unclean area. (5) Room had no smoke detector. (6) Poor lighting in the room and switches not wired to work correctly. NEVER AGAIN! ONE AND DONE!!!

We have stayed here many times over the last several years. We have family in the area and this place is in a good location and is very pet friendly. Over the years however, it has gone downhill somewhat. The facility was under going some minor repairs when we were there. They don’t have alarm clocks in the rooms anymore and they didn’t have any outside trash cans which we missed. We will stay here again though - it is usually a good value, a good location for us, and pet friendly.

Room was not cleaned well, found long strands of hair in the unoccupied bed. Discarded items under the bathroom counter and lack of hot water. Internet was not stable. Facility needs repair work (floors, walls, etc), a fresh coat of paint would also be beneficial.

The pillows were the softest and fluffiest I’ve ever had very comfortable The other thing I liked was it was central to a lot of shopping and restaurant location. I didn’t have a car for the first two days and I was still able to get what I needed because they were all in walking distance.
