La Quinta Inn Suites Floresville

My room never had hot water for a shower, only tepid at best. The hotel staff were aware of the problem, but didn't appear to have a plan to correct it. I had to log on to the the internet at least twice per day to stay connected. The internet seemed slow, not my idea of high speed. The water features at the front entrance were very attractive.

The rooms were well appointed and clean. We had a few requests and the staff was instantly helpful to fulfill every need. (We could not work the TV, for one, and the front desk person came immediately to our room; helped us understand what to do; worked her magic in just a few minutes and was gone. All with a smile and warmth as a true host.

There was still urine on the toilet seat when I checked in. Cleaning staff quickly cleaned it for me. The parking lot is bright and well lit. But there were no solid curtains for the window and I couldn’t make the room dark. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable.

We never checked in and tthey charged me full stay even after we canceled due to a family emergency I have not received a refund like they said I would when I called

Will not ever stay at a La Quinta again. Tried to stay in 2 La Quinta's as I traveled from CA to TX. Both were so bad. The quality of each were not what I had expected. The first stop was in Las Cruces, NM. It seemed like they were housing illegals there. I love dogs but a stray dog was roaming around the hotel, workers were not in uniform, the room was dirty, my room key didn't work and they had to put me in another room. The 2nd La Quinta in Floresville, TX was not the best either. The carpet felt damp, the room smelled weird and I didn't even want to look under the sheets. If you want a good hotel make sure its a 4 1/2 to 5 star. And don't use a third party or get tricked by the website where you think your making a reservation at the hotel website but actually using a third party. If you don't like the hotel you'll never get your money using a third party or at least with this company called Reservation Desk. Such a bad experience.
