Days Inn Eastland

Here is the problem I have with this place. I called for a little over an hour of and on to make sure they had a room downstairs. I did reach someone who was very short with me and said yep we have downstairs rooms. Upon arrival no rooms downstairs available. When I walked into the room it was extremely hot. So hot I waited outside for 15 to 20 minutes for the room to cool off enough to walk in it.The room never did get cold just cool enough to not sweat but not very comfortable. The temperature was 106 outside so that's one reason I wanted downstairs but they could have had the air on in the room for me as I made a reservation ahead of time. The room itself was remodeled. The bed had several hairs in it and the bathroom floor was dirty. I used a damp towel to clean the up myself.

We were late booking a room for a wedding and wound up here for almost $100 a night. The simulated wood floor was so dirty when you walked across it your socks or feet would be black with dust and dirt. The room door looked like it had previously been kicked in and the door frame pieced back together and only one piece of the dead bolt left hanging on. The bathroom had hair on the floor and on a piece of soap not removed from the shower during cleaning. The shower curtain rod was bent down and wouldn't keep both ends of the curtain from sliding to the middle. The furniture was all outdated and skinned up. The A/C unit in the wall had a gap with daylight coming through which explains fly's and moths. The microwave had splatters all over it and the mini fridge had the last persons stuff in it. The pool was closed and by closed I mean like may never open again, the property was dirty and the continental breakfast was waffle maker, cereal and nasty jelly pastries. The coffee pot in the room quit working and the lobby coffee had something seriously wrong, it was like rusty sludge. I wouldn't pay $29/per night for this place..
