The Westin Galleria Dallas

We stayed at the Westin Galleria in the Corner Club Suite is a $600plus per night room. Absolutely noting special. The lounge part of teh suite had one of those bench type lounge suites, like you get in a $100/night motel. No tele in the lounge room. The whole hotel has the feel of a 1980's building with the decor etc. Th eClub lounge was basic, not what you expect when spending that type of money. Plenty of room for improvement.

Breakfast at the Club House served by Liliana (sorry if I speeded the name wrong ☺️) she is amazing, attentive, friendly and very welcoming. The foods are also amazing, thank you Mertern, I love your boiled egg, scramble egg, the potatoes are so well done and everything cooked very delicious.

Avoid this place: - They sneak on a Minibar charge hours after checkout, even though I never opened the Minibar and never do so at any property. Very dishonest and the sole reason I will never stay there again. I will also recommend our company to take this property off the preferred list. - Shower stayed lukewarm on 2nd day. - Loud drilling noises at 6 am.

Good property connected to a large mall. The room is large and the bed was comfortable. The fitness room really needs some attention - many broken treadmills. Also, it took a full 30 minutes to fix my door so I can get in upon check in. Oceanaire restaurant on the first floor is nice and pretty good.

Lifetime titanium elite (husband is the member) Front desk rude because the manager on site was worse. Booked 2 rooms but my husband couldn’t check in at the same time. We were told no upgrade, no Bonvoy benefits etc The manager “claimed” they received an email that day (10/24) corporate sent a letter don’t award benefits for Bonvoy unless both occupants are standing there. It’s a shame customers since Covid put up with almost zero services with little discounts & now things are back to normal the bear minimum service with higher prices. Stay somewhere else where your business is appreciated.
