The Ritz Carlton Dallas

This is a terrific luxury hotel in a fine location in downtown Dallas. My room was large, immaculate and well appointed. I had a large desk for work, many outlets and a strong wifi signal. Service is first rate too, including in the way staff handled a nearby guest who was apparently disruptive. I definitely will return.

The Ritz Dallas never disappoints a family staycation. The tenured staff at this property makes every effort to make sure the customer experience is first class. In addition, the club lounge experience is second to none. Our family rebooked and will countdown the days until our next stay.

Loud street noise. Room 75 degrees and took 9 hours to cool to 68 with hvac fan on max. Bed saggy and too soft, woke up with back pain. Sheets super dry. Booked $1k+ room with lounge access but never given lounge access. Would have talked with them but only one night. Food menu at bar and restaurant lack any healthy options and are very limited (5 choices for food at bar, 6 entrees at restaurant—no chicken or turkey or fish at either)

Overall: 7.5/10 Needed a hotel close proximity to the airport so decided to check out this property for the night. Upon arrival Valet / Bell Service was welcoming and on point. The bags were already waiting in the room for us , almost like it was magic. 10/10 service for the gentlemen out on the front drive. Front desk was welcoming and very nice. Beautiful lobby and common areas. Room was basic and didn't give off 5-star feeling. I was hoping for maybe a better location of the hotel (room type wise) but room #334 was mid-tier for the Ritz Price. The Service from the ladies & Gentlemen made up for room. I would come back!

3 stars even though I liked most of the hotel. Just fyi, I did get a discounted corporate rate. The rooms were great. The staff was amazing friendly. And most importantly, security was onsite because it was needed. Now let’s talk about the bad. The hotel bar. Drinks are great. The scenery, not so much. The second the sun goes down, the ladies of the night come in droves. One or two at a business hotel, sure, I get it. But they outnumbered the guests 2 to 1. It was ridiculous. They were aggressive and I even saw a few kicked out. However, I saw most of them take people upstairs and leave later. You notice a lot when hanging out in the lobby at a conference. That was a no go for me. Amazing hotel, but would not go again. Not my thing, but maybe this will get others to stay there.
